why am i getting a burnt taste?

i got my vivi nova (2.5ml) and ive been using it for about a week now. I'm using a VV spinner with freedomsmokeUSA 70/30 vg/pg mix (Cappuccino flavor). I'm also using the 2.8 ohm wicks on it but for some reason once i go past 4 volts i keep getting that burnt taste. i also get a burnt taste when it reaches around about 1.25 ml of liquid. can someone tell me what im doing wrong or what i should do?

Past 4 volts the wick/coil can't keep up and starts to burn the juice, as it's not wicking fast enough. And pretty much the same thing happens when the juice level gets low, the wicks can't keep up. So top it off and keep the volts below 4

Adding to the last post, when the juice has a high vg ratio it doesn't wick very well.

I've noticed that coffee flavors tend to be thicker and also have a tendency to burn for some reason. Sometimes the coffee flavor starts tasting like nasty burnt flavor, when it isn't burning, or is used thru a tainted carto [one that has burnt a little b4]. Just something to consider, nowadays I only mix coffee with something to avoid this

Coffee is one of the WORST vaping liquids out there.....Mucks up everything after 1-2 days.....Its a real carto and wick killer....Doesn't matter which vendor you use.....Anything SWEET does the same thing too.....

what kind of flavors do you recommend me to use? are fruit flavors going to do the same thing?

I've been vaping peach ice daily for weeks and I haven't noticed a performance decrease on my vvn.
