Why are my dual-coils half dead in a day?

the only thing I see in your post is the possibility your aren't filling them properly(only maybe)...seems they should hold more...are they "slushy" looking on top before you start vaping...(I vape5+-ml/day)...I get 30drops into a reg sized Boge carto and nearly 50 into an XL sized one...with my level of vaping, I will get dry/burnt taste in about and hour...almost double that with an XL...if I wait that long, the regs will take 15-20 drops and the XLs upto 30+...if that is not the problem, a batch of bad cartos could be...............

Sounds to me like your getting fluid in the air hole more than anything, they all work...you go to fill it...it gurgles, air flow constricts...

fluid in the airhole....this is a really easy one to test out, if you hold a new one up you can see light through it. Can you still see the same amount through the ones that are now no longer functioning?

If not you could try to run something through that center hole to clear out the liquid (I have used a thin gauge wire/needle/ and one time a tooth pick with some success) or blow through it. If that then allows you to see some light through the hole try vaping it.

I just put a new one on a hour ago. Did not seem the same. so I checked it and got 2.0 ohms.

Not sure if this is a question, or an FYI.

Resistance goes up at they wear. Also, there is some variation in manufacturing of any atty/carto. Also, some multimeters have issues with low ohm readings. So...........Prolly a 1.6ish ohm carto with variation and use = 2.0 ohm. Guess.

Cartos are disposable. Use it up and/or try another. If that doesn't work.... start a thread about em with specifics and we can help.

I almost threw my 306 DC out the first day I used it. It just didn't seem right. Too much heat, little vapor, very airy draw. I had juiced it up, waited an hour. I use it on a Reo, so I am filling every few draws. Five days later it is still going strong. The draw tightened up a bit and vapor is huge. I have gone through about 12 ml+ of various juices. I think some of the DC's may need a bit more break-in time.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. This last one seems to have come back to life and works acceptably, but very hot, mouth drying, not much flavour.

Since they were all half-dying right after the first top-up, I assumed I must be making some elementary mistake (like not setting it aside after the last vape before topping up or similar). These are my first cartos. They were all really great for the hours that they popped and sizzled, but if this is what they're like normally I'm not sure what the big deal is. I think I prefer normal 510LRs. I might get another pack and try with different juice.

Thanks again! Any other input for a carto-noob welcome.
