I vape because I enjoyed smoking, but didn't like what came with it: sore throat, coughing, going to bed and waking up tasting like an ashtray, etc. I smoked cigarettes, cigars (inhaled them) and pipes off and on for nearly 45 years. Quit once for 15 years and went back to it cause I enjoyed the activity. I vape a lot and enjoy it far more than I ever did with tobacco. I still have the occasional cigarette or cigar when I'm out on the bike, but I don't buy them anymore and when I get back home it's nothing but vaping.

Regards,
Jerry

After numerous tries at quitting altogether, even after a heart attack a year and a half ago, I came to realize that I am absolutely addicted to recieving a nicotine dose through the lungs. It's about hazard reduction for me, as well as getting to the century mark (100 miles) on my bicycle. I'm up to 50-60, and finally my legs are giving out before my breath on hills! What more could a nic addict hope for? I've never felt better, at least not in the last 35 years of smoking.
