This is a genuine question, not a criticism of anyone. But I can't help wondering as I read posts about people wanting to buy 0mg liquid - why on earth would anyone want to do that? When it's so easy and much less expensive to simply buy pg and/or vg and your own flavorings (Lor Ann or Bickford's for example).

Commerical liquid is necessary and probably cost-effective for its nicotine content, as it is really hard and potentially dangerous to make your own, and extremely difficult to know what strength you'd be getting if you did try, but I'm totally clueless as to why people are buying the stuff without nicotine!

Hi Yvilla,

I'm just a noob, but I can only guess that one can use the 0 mg to cut back the nic in the liquid without loosing flavor.

A while back, I had a dumb accident and got a mouthful of 11 mg. Afterwards, I couldn't vape or smoke anything for a few days. Yet I still had the hand-mouth impulse and ordered some 0 mg for that reason. I still have some in my pantry. After I got home from the hospital, I still wanted to smoke, despite my plan to use only 0 mg. What a sicko, I am!

I've tried to mix my own, but it just didn't work for me. I prefer to buy it premade.

:D

In my case it was just simpler. I would love to learn to make my own 0-nic eliquid eventually, but at first glance at the DIY Liquid board, I just found it all fairly daunting.

I buy 0mg because I want the flavour, I like smoking and I also want a base liquid that I can cut with a low or medium strength depending on how I am feeling. I vape too much and seem to be developing shakes form the nic.

If you want to know why I don't make my own, that's a slightly silly question, its the same reason i don't bake my own bread.

I huff zero most of the time and use low or med if I am stressed and feel the need for some nicotine. I started at med when I started e-smoking and gradually worked to zero. I LOVE e-cigs and don't plan to stop using then even though I'm confident I wouldn't go back to analogs at this point. I like the whole experience and love the taste.

I've bought a few 0 nic solutions, but for the most part, I make my own. But the Tennessee Cured from JC is one that I haven't been able to mimic, so I continue to buy that from time to time.

anyone on here that has or does vape 0mg nicotine juice,,, do you still get any sort of throat hit? i think that if i could still get the throat hit, and the flavor, the lack of nicotine wouldn't phase me too much

The only throat hit I manage to get from 0 nic juice is when I add menthol crystals to the solution and vape it in my Screwdriver . . . and even that is sometimes hit and miss. (I bought the menthol crystals on eBay.)
