The ability to be able to recreate a recipe over and over again even if it is by accident is priceless!!!!! You can use the various calculators that are out there even before you start blending. And the majority are free to use I believe.

Calculating goes hand in hand with keeping good notes on everything you mix, even the failures. You can calculate all you want but if you don't write it all down you can't duplicate that master mix. So calculate accurately , measure carefully and for gods sake write it all down.
