6v mod, mega cartomizers, you'll laugh at cigarettes once you have it in your hand. Keep in mind the occasional cigarette isn't the end of the world, it'll taste like crap, you'll smell like ..., and you'll say "I'll never smoke again". But until you get something that not only matches cigarettes, but blows it out of the water, you won't be analog free.

I can't say that I quit mt 1st day. I wasn't sure when I'd get my PV so I woke up that day and smoked like I normally would. My kit came that afternoon. I used teh rest of that day to compare if you will. I would smoke a cig, and then I would vape immediately afterwards just to see the difference. Well it only took that partial day to see that the ecig was a better experience for my and that was that. The next day I was done. I did have to fight some natural cravings, I smoked for 26 years. I also believe that I didn't nor still do get the nic that I did from cigs, and had I bumped it to 36 or 48 mg the first week the cravings would have been less.

I agree with the voltage suggestions as well. I went to 5V and man what a difference! I still vape my Ego when I chain vape, but when I need a "fix" I go to the 5V. I'll say it again, don't stop vaping! You'll get there in your own time. Also 2 months in if you've cut back reward yourself what you've saved. Deduct that initial start up cost, reward yourself with something 5V. You can get a box mod cheap.

You don't give a lot of info, but here's what happened with me (I should keep this text on my desktop for copypasta):

I knew myself well enough that I didn't "try to quit". For me, that is a recipe for insta-fail.

Definitely agree wiht Quasi on this one. I took up vaping just to see what it was about since I'd started seeing ads and infomercials on it. I started with a tobacco flavor and the highest nicotine level to get used to it, then moved to the others in the starter pack I purchased. I found that after I had used up all the tobacco flavors and found a favorite vaping flavor, I liked the taste of vaping better than smoking. After that point, I was down to about 3-4 cigs a day (morning, lunch, after dinner and before bed). I worked over the course of 2 weeks to cut out one of those every few days and this was really the only conscience effort I've made to quit. Right now, I'm at the point where if I want a cig, I'll smoke one. But they are starting to taste worse and worse, and I have to vape when I'm done to get the nasty taste out of my mouth.

It took me about six weeks to switch over all the way. When i wanted a cig I had one. And i wanted them less and less frequently. This isn't one of those things where you have to suffer. Let yourself enjoy the journey. Give yourself credit for the cigs you don't smoke. Feeling deprived and stressed makes it just that much more difficult.

If the cravings are really bothering you and you're on high mg (24-36mg) liquid, you may want to check out the smokeless alternative section of the forum. Some people need some of the other tobacco alkaloids as well as the nicotine.

I started vaping over a year ago. At first I struggled with the equipment, and kinda gave up on it. Then 3 months ago I got back into it.

With me, it seemed more breaking habits (and forming new ones) than anything else. I was USED to going outside for a smoke break at work. I was USED to smoking in the car. And at first, grabbing a cig out of my pocket and lighting it just seemed easier than using the PV. It did help me cut my cigarette consumption by half though. And I was happy with that.

This last Saturday, I just challenged myself: Could I go a whole day without a cigarette? Well, it was hard. But every time I had a craving, I would just puff on the e-cig instead. And I got through the day. Sunday was easier, but since I had some cigs left over, I tried one. It tasted nasty. So that was it. I haven't bought any more cigarettes since.

I know it hasn't been that long, but I really just don't have the desire to go buy any. I kinda hope it keeps up, because I already feel like I can breathe a little easier.

I've been vaping in between cigs now for about 2 months, but I still can't give up analogs!!! So I need advice, how did you successfully cut out analogs? Right now I have an Elight Elite e-cig that I'm very satisfied with.
I've seen on websites 50mg strength nicotine content, perhaps you can try this!
