I have been using Elight Elite which I found in a mall here in Chicago. I used to smoke Macanudo cigars everyday and wanted to quit. Unfortunately, nicotine is an admirable foe. So, I tried it and didn't need the cigars (well, not exactly, took some time before I could kick the physiological part of it, smoke density, etc). Been cigar free for over 6 months and I don't stink anymore. I have had issues on and off with Elight which I will explain a bit more. Sometimes I wonder if I am getting into something worse, straight nicotine inhaled. I an going to do more research here and read about products. I am a bull in a china shop so if is breakable I will break it. I have been on other forums and will read the newbie stickys. I am a very simple user and cheap too. I do not care about gimmicks, colors, flavors. Just want to surpress the craving in the most economical manner and get back to work (own restaurants - can be stressful). Here is my list of things I will be looking into.

Elight (pros and cons for me)

1) I had battery problems, I read a bit already and as I thought, different mAh. Not sure what I have now but it is the white one that glows red.
2) Cartridges inconsistent.
3) Opened a few cartridges and found I was smoking some cotton. I haven't read anywhere nor heard from the AMA that this is recommended but, for me, there is no way yo know when the cartridge is done. And, I am a cheapskate at heart (maybe subconsciously I think the 5-pack is a lifetime supply ). That is when I was thinking about a refilling option and find it is already out there. So, now, which one.
4) The one thing I like about Elight, they are here locally. Do not like all that shipping stuff. So, Chi-towners, chime in or PM me for local options.

Thanks to all upfront for any info you provide. I hope to do the same for others. Since I am on the fast track here at ECF, you might as well make me Vice President of product durablity bcs if I can't break it, it is a winner :).

PS second time writing this, forgot about time outs, auto save worked pretty good but this version has been copied.
