Why can't I start a new thread in the new members forum?

Over your avatar picture, says you're a full member now. Most ECF members are great people wanting and willing to help others, of course you will run into an ... here and there, as I have but they usually don't respond back after I reply to there rude and insulting comments.

If you're trying to learn something you don't know it's not a dumb question as long as there's common sense involved.

Just don't ask actual dumb questions like, can I wash my battery. I had someone ask me that in person.

Off subject so sorry but this was the closest I could find. How do you start a subject... Even the newbie that started this one knows more than me!?!?! Thanks for any help
1. Navigate to the forum in which you want to post.
2. Near the top, there is a "Forum Tools" pulldown that lets you add a thread.

If you are in a forum where your permissions allow you to start new threads, then there is also the "Post New Thread" button at the top of the page (in the same place as the "Reply to Thread" button that you see when viewing a particular thread)

Well, funny you should say that, but if you plug the gas vents in the top of your rechargeable cell with Blutack or something, and use distilled water, then yes: you can wash a battery. In fact you can put it in a fishtank full of water, and connect stuff to the battery, and it will still work.

But not in salt water :)

Really? I'll pass that on to my friend who wanted to wash his 510 ego battery. Lol
