Why can't someone make a rechargeable PV that is the same size of the NJoy King and vapes like it too?

Certainly there's a market for PVs that look and feel exactly like a cigarette. You can be assured that njoy did a thorough market vetting before releasing the disposable King nationwide, so there must be demand for it (I demand it!!). I use an Ego clone for primary vaping, but when I take my "cigarette breaks" at work, I like to "smoke" a cig-sizer, as this tricks my feeble, rickety brain into believing I'm giving it a good ol' fashion tobacco nic-stick.

I've tried the ePuffer Colobri and the SafeCig Micro -horrid flavor, absolutely no throat hit what-so-ever. Why is this?

And so, experts, I kindly ask of thee these questions three:

What did njoy do to allow such a great throat hit (it's not just the high nic content)?

How in the friggin' hell does NJoy get away with stating that their ecig is commensurate with 2 packs of analogs?

If you already know of a company that is creating such a device, will you please tweet the deets (give the details) my way?

Thanks mucho

Can't answer about the throat hit... Must be some sort of Voodoo magic.

I can tell you there is a good amount of cig-a-like options out there... Things like the Halo G6, or the Volt, and even Joytech's own eRoll.

Halo is nice because their juice, which is great, is made for their devices. But tastes great across the board.

Halo - Halo Electronic Cigarette

Volt - Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Smokeless Image Electronic Cigarettes - The Future is in your hands

eRoll - Various vendors carry them... try Google to find one right for you.

There are many others. these are just the ones off the top of my head!

I own the volt and use their 65mm batts as well as there Ego-style bigger batt. Those don't feel or look like a King. My brain can tell the difference between those and a real cig, however my brain can not tell the difference between the Njoy King and a real cig. Maybe it has to do with the MASSIVE throat hit and how the cart end is all gooshy and soft lie a real cig. Actually, I think most of it has to do with how I can place the King in-between my smackers, let go, take a drag, then grab it again and put it down by my side, all along not feeling like I had a heavy metal cylindrical shaped thing in my pie whole.

I grabbed a 21st Century today for giggles. It's a standard cig-alike, but it tasted very similar to a King menthol and was actually somewhat satisfying at 1.6%. But of course it's almost twice the size of a King.

I'm sure NJoy could do it, but why when the King already sells so well?

Why? Because, the first company that releases a rechargeable PV that works and looks exactly like an NJoy King will be the first company that has a chance to convert almost ALL smokers to vaping. Sure, people are buying the King, but they last about as long as I do in the sack with a chick (thats not too long for those who aren't keeping up ;). I truly feel that the ecig industry has been remiss for not focusing more on creating such a product years ago. Sure, the Volt is great, and so are so many others, but I've probably talked to over 100 smokers about vaping, and the underlying barrier to entry for them is that vaping doesn't "feel" like smoking. I understand the grievance.

Spot on OP.

A rechardgable version or much much cheaper Njoy King is the future and will BE THE DEVICE to grow this industry more than anything else.

The Halp G6's are too big and heavy, heck my eroll is still too big and heavy for my liking (compared to a real cig or the njoy king)

We will get our wish sometime this year most likely.

YOU, my friend, are absolutely correct. It doesn't matter which way you look at it; this is where this industry must ultimately go to realize full market size potential.

Somebody provide a counter argument, if it's even possible.

So come on now, manufacturers, I know you browse these forums. It's time to put those research & development dollars to use.

I got to say the King pretty much saved my wife last weekend. We've only quit smoking a month ago and it was her 30th birthday with a big party at the casino blues bar. I had no problem whatsoever but I didn't get drunk. She was hammered and was really craving a cigarette and her Vamo wasn't cutting it so I ran to the gas station and got her a couple Kings. She was happy the rest of the night and killed them both in a few hours.

There really is something about it, be it the papery light feel or the way the end lights up and looks like an actual cigarette that makes this thing feel like your actually smoking an analog. She said the next morning they really saved her ....

Yep it sure is!

There is no counter argument.

I'm sure we will get the usual self righteous guys who think their .... dont stink because they vape on a large device, but those people are basically saying they don't care if smokers die. Because the facts are most smokers will only ever use a small ecig out in public.

There a millions and millions of smokers. The easiest way to get their money is to develop the best cigalike looking ecig.

I can't wait to get one, it's going to "feel like the first time, feel like the very first time" :toast:

I'm not arguing. It's pretty obvious NJoy could do it, and the existance of the X3/Micro/Nano proves that the form factor is possible in a rechargeable. If we're lucky, NJoy is using the King to test the waters and we'll be seeing such a device relatively soon.

If we're not... I guess we'll have to wait and see what develops.
