Why Did I Pick The Omega RDA?

After doing ALOT of research on coild building, battery safety, OHM's law and other things, I ended up getting a Nemesis clone and an Omega clone rda. Sadly, I should have done more research on what rda to get as a beginner, the Omega is not what I would call an easy build. It is a nightmare to build, to be honest, I don't feel comfortable enough in what I have built so far to even use it. I will spend more time looking into easier rda's to build on. Anyone have any suggestions for easier builds then the Omega? Thanks.

I don't know if I'd call it a nightmare... but the ones I've seen are not 1:1 of either the V1 or V1.5 Omega.

The most common complaint I see with Omega clones... is users trying to fit coils into the "Chinese standard" one-size-fits-all, too low post holes - down inside a deep well. If you're new to the RDA thing... I'd imagine that can be really frustrating.

The original Vapor Bombz Omega had no post holes, and was designed to easily capture the wire under the screw heads... and even use a - looped on the center post/single piece of wire - coil set, rather than 2 separate coils, if you choose.
People .....ed about capturing wire under screws with the V1 authentic Omega... so the V1.5 has coil holes - but up pretty high on the posts, so fitting is still easy.

If you don't have thick enough post shoulders to capture wire under the screw head, you can drill new, higher holes - or you can fit washers under the screws to make screw retention more of a possibility... if drilling isn't in the cards.

Although not my cup of tea, you'd probably be happier all around with an "easy build" RDA, like the Plume Veil.

I really like my trident v1 clone RDA . I think it's easy to build on, and there are plenty of different coils you can build on it. Some complain about the airflow bing restricted, but I think it's fine. If you want to build dual, look at the stilare or tobh. I have the tobh and it hits like a train! Looking at getting a Stillare, but well see!

To make matters worse, I lost one of the screws to a post, which in turn made me have to forget trying to build a dual coil setup for now. I ended up building a 28g twisted single coil setup. Single coil was alot easier to do, it is running about .6 with this coil. It works well, so I guess it is not a nightmare, just a bit tuffer then most. Not something I'd suggest for a new person who is just starting with RDA's. In retrospect, I got really good(good being relative) at making coils, all the trial and error kind of forced me to make a ton of different coils.
