i am not sure but I think atomizers are suppose to last quite a bit longer than the cartomizers thus the price difference but i am finding that the cartomizers are actually lasting longer. I used to use atomizers but now have switched to cartomizers. They last longer and I am finding that the taste is better too

What everyone else said. I've had atomizers die within 5 minutes (and I wasn't overcooking them). Some have lasted for months. Like ukeman, I really like the IKV Fusions and the dual-coils. They are the ones I'll buy in the future. Unless they are too hard to get. I'm with you, I don't understand the price difference.

An atomizer is more versatile, you can use a cartridge, or drip. Supposedly they last longer, but I guess YMMV. I've been using the new edition 5 CE2 clearomizers, not totally unproblematic, but much better than previous editions. I haven't killed one yet, but I also haven't killed any attys yet either, so I can't say which will last longer. But, even if the clearos last 1/5 as long... they are 1/5 the price. I've never cared much for cartomizers or carts, and dripping is too much hassle. Clearos give me the same flavor as dripping, but less hassle as a fill lasts so much longer. You also know how much liquid you have left in a clearo, vs. a carto, and very little is wasted.

They are very different designs, but it would seem that unless an atty lasts much longer due to being higher quality, either a clearo or a carto should cost more, not less, they have more parts than an atty.

I'd like to see a sixth revision clearo, maybe dual coils, and certainly using the same tubing as a 3ml syringe, out of the box and not having to modify them.

i have lots of older 510's mostly joye, that need a cleaning; not performing as well, but it seems to me the DSE 901's are just a weaker link.

unfortunately i just love the nice vape of a DSE 901.... so far i've been vaping off a Fusion for a few days, with many many top offs... still working well. I've had to increase the voltage though as the resistance has gone up from 2.3 to 3.0 currently...

I try to use at least 50% pg too... i've heard more vg will clog easier.
