Why do i keep getting my wick burnt?

I had this issue a lot before I started building with spaced coils and Scottish roll wicking method. Do try it out.

I figured most of the time it's the coil heating up unevenly on tight wicks.

Tried again just now.. Coil glowing inside out. I'm using rayon, so I lightly pull the strands apart to as thin as possible, then roll it back like the Scottish roll.
Took some continuous(4-5) extended long DLH with no problems at all thanx for the reminder

Always preferred spacing the coil. Yeah, and +1 for Scottish roll.

Im using an ipv mini 2 with subox mini tank. vaping at 18-20 watts on a 0.6ohm coil.

When i check, its only burnt on one side of the wick. Any tips on wicking?

Try checking if ur coil is even. To do so dismantle ur tank and in the rda section use a screwdriver give it a few rubs on the coil and hit the fire button. U shd be getting an even glow in ur coil. Hope that answer ur question.

For me, I can't really taste burnt... Must be something wrong with me. The coil and wick is burnt as f and all my friends can taste it except me ~.~

Depends on how u inhale. Everyone has different capacity in their lungs. Cheers bro
