Why do I read bad things about the Nautilus when mine seems fine?

My tank doesn't leak or spit juice in my mouth... is it going to start and what do I do if it does?

This is what I would tell anyone who had problems with a flooded atomizer.

To fix a flooded atomizer take your tank off the battery and blow through the mouthpiece (with a paper towel under it or cover the airflow hole). This will drain the extra eliquid.

When you inhale, take a long smooth draw vs a short sharp draw. This will prevent extra eliquid from being pulled into your coils and flooding it. Inhalation technique with an e-cigarette

Whenever you first sense that your atomizer is beginning to flood try this:
1. Open up the airflow so when you take a hit you are not pulling in as much juice into your coils (if your tank has airflow control) .
2. Raise your voltage or wattage if your battery allows you to do this. This will vaporize more eliquid.
3. Tip your battery up (and take a few hits). By tipping it up you will prevent more eliquid from being fed into the coils.

Give one or all of these a try.:)

Mine always spits at me, but after using drippers and such, spitting doesn't bother me or affect me that much. Some people think "Hey man, I spent this much on it dude, it should work perfectly man..." /end Tommy Chong impersonation

/edit
This industry is just now in its adolescence, nothing has been truly perfected yet. People like to be lazy and b_______ all the time without figuring out or troubleshooting what is going wrong.

I would recommend NOT doing that.

When you blow through the mouthpiece you're blowing the excess juice into the base, soaking the electrical connection between the 510 connection and the coil. This disrupts the electrical flow, increasing the resistance between the 510 connector and the coil, and could potentially create a short where the juice creates the electrical connection between the 510 connector and the base.

It's much better to turn the tank upside down and suck the excess juice through the drip tip. You want to remove it from the atty completely, not blow it all down into a puddle on the inside of the base.

The nautilus on a provari 2.5 is now my in the car/travelling device. I think its a great tank similar draw and taste to the kayfun, has never leaked. I guess the coils can be inconsistent sometimes, kanger has had similar issues, i just get 5 boxes max from any 1 vendor and space it out so if i get unlucky it won't be all of them. I have had zero issues so far, just what i have heard... And spacing out purchasing supplies makes sense in other ways anyways to me.

The coils last a good decent time too, with albeit a little usage every day I still seem to get 2 to 4 weeks out of them.

Don't worry, its a good tank and if you are enjoying it even less reason to worry. Might not be a terrible idea to get a second as a backup using one of the sales this weekend if you want more peace of mind?

So thank you for all the info... my tank is longer than my battery. .. I'm realizing this is all about what I like and I'm really into this form factor... my mom (who gave me this setup)just bought the 50w version of this (eleaf istick) and says she can't turn it up without tasting bad... so she still runs 13w, just lasts a lot longer... sooo, what's the point, is her nautilus just not up to it? Coils?
