tilt it is expected on any upper coil clearomizer... larger wick doesn't mean better performance in my experience, the best T2 I've had was a short wicks that was the first version of the T2, of course I needed to tilt it more often but as I mentioned this is expected on any upper coil.

About leaking, if you hold it upside down for 10 secs it will leak and gurgle... only tilt just enough to wet the wicks and you will be fine.

Good question. I think it was Thrasher who answered it when I searched for the same thing- Why do some top coils have mini wicks like bottom coil clearomizers? Answer is that tilting is already expected, so with a short wick, you always get a better juice mix to the coil because longer wicks tend to soak up only the certain thicker part(s) of the juice and you'd end up only vaping 'some' of the juice mix.
