Seems more than a few around here are confused by the words Cheap and Junk.

Honestly the Thread Title is incorrect. There most certainly is Junk that cost little i.e. Cheap Junk. Unfortunately there is also plenty of JUNK out there that cost much to much for what it is. i.e. Expensive Junk.

People that buy Junk cheaply normally Knowingly take a gamble they will get their moneys worth from the item and are not expecting a lifetime purchase.

That said: I normally search out Low Cost items that work and Not cheap items that are known to be Junk.
Have I been burned in this approach - Yes
Have I had good luck in this approach - Yes
For every invested Dollar Lost, I have saved close to 10 times as much.

If I had to estimate, minus e-liquids, 98% of the items I have purchased over the past 18 months is still in my inventory and working.
Believe it or not, every piece has its time and place for use.:)

You nailed it crxess.

To add more to the point of not expecting a lifetime purchase, my vaping tastes have changed over time. I started with a sGo-C kit which was great at the time and got me most of the way off cigarettes. Then I got a couple of Twists for convenience and a bit later two mods with a bit more power. Then I got into mechanical mods and all my old gear is now only used occasionally and for backup.

I am not going to be buying any more mech mods now. Why? Because new high power regulated mods are popping up almost weekly and I see myself moving to them. I have time though as my mech mods will likely last me a couple of years yet, but they were cheap so nothing lost if I switch early. I could use a couple more batteries, but I'm holding off there too. There are a couple of new batteries on the market that may be good for mechanical mods if they turn out to be as good as advertised, but my battery needs may be changing from what I would want for that type of use anyway.

Do you always get what you pay for? No, definitely not. Knowing which product is better for you is always what will get you the best bang for your buck. That takes patience and an investment in time that not everyone has or is inclined to make happen.

Way to make fun of me. Very funny! All i need to know is that people with provari seem to think they don't stink. Call what i but junk if you want but not everyone can afford a 200+ dollar mod. I hope you all feel superior to everyone as you vape on that device. Have fun with it, you give vaping a bad name. Would be the same as talking bad about someone that buys Pall Mall and not Marlboro. Typical snobs.

Seriously? Thanks for the laugh. I don't have a Ferrari but I like my heated seats and Sirius on the commute to work. I also like my Provari. What I don't like is people that call people snobs because of what they have or what they like. It only makes YOU look like an envious (bleep).

I just have to say i have a kanger tech evod with mt3 tanks and today i bought some e-smart bcc tanks just to have smaller tanks because switch flavors like i switch my socks. On my entire setup i have spend about 60$ thats 2 650mah evods and 2 ego type batteries i dont knowthe name of and 2mt3 tanks and 5 esmart bcc tanks. When and im sure any of this takes a crap i will replace with the same brand. I am nothing but happy with my equipment and i dont have the want or time for any of the other .... that comes with vaping. I want to pick up my pen and go and thats it.

For me personally i know about other smokers and how they are "better" than mine. But why spend the extra money if i dont have to?

I predict that next year eGo's and cig-a-likes will still dominate the market, despite being what...7 year old technology? Furthermore, I also predict that my ProVari will turn five and still function.

Mine went flying across the room yesterday with quite a bit of velocity and landed on a tile floor and knocked the cap just slightly up. A piece of wood and a hammer later and it's good as new. :)

Yeah, I read that about the piece of wood a few months ago. I skipped the wood and just used a brass or rubber mallet (whichever was closest) to re-seat the top cap on the ProVari. I've done it two or three times now. Next time I'll probably use the wood. :D

I gotta say how impressed I was with how sturdy it is - I initially tried tapping it with a hammer using a few layers of paper napkins for padding and there was no indication, even after some force, that a hammer had been taken to it. No trace at all. :)

Can anyone recommend me a cheap junk that has a great battery life and where I can get it? What I mean about battery life isn't for a good single charge but the duration of many many charges. Im thinking of ordering from FT at this point.

What's your budget? For $40 from a stateside vendor:

Innokin MVP 2

Currently out of stock, but it seems they've been getting them in regularly. Sign up for an in-stock notification and jump on it if you want.
