Some people have sensitivity to PG -- it's a real thing, my sister, for example, cannot even use vaseline skin lotion, due to the PG.
Equally, some people have sensitivity to VG, again a real phenomenon.
For those who tout VG as more "natural", "better", other than for those with sensitivity to PG I haven't heard of any official medical use of VG for inhalation. It doesn't make VG any worse than PG, just means that there is less (as in "no") documentation that I've heard of on how good/safe VG inhalation is. At least PG use has had some study, historically, and was used in at least some inhalation type products previously (and is still used in at least some fairly current things, like evaluation of an inhaler for lung transplant patients -- PG was used as the carrier).
If anyone has documented studies of VG inhalation showing its safety, please post them in the Health and Safety area.
PV use is a crap-shoot. I'm confident that I'm not sucking down the cancer-causing tar, and only inhaling a tiny fraction of the chemicals compared to when I smoked, but for me it's a reduction in harm, I cannot claim that everything I vape is totally harmless. Personally, I do better at running and other aerobic activities when I'm not vaping really high VG amounts -- subjective, but that's all any of us have to go on.
