As title states, I get my best vape off of my 18350s NO MATTER WHAT. All batts are new, all are the same aw imr.

I get a GREAT vape out of the 18350s (granted, I switch out 3x's a day) and a moderate to poor vape with the same brand 18650.

I run .5-.6 ohm coils--maybe the discharge load is different? I'm going to try the NiHn (<sp) 5v batteries with a .9 ohm coil as soon as the USPS will drop my stuff off.

Just wondering why my 18650s SUCK.

i recently ordered some AW IMR 18650 with 1600 mah because i read, i think it was a post of dspin, that there is a difference between the 1600´s and the 2000´s. After some websearches i found a site of a guy with a lot of tested rechargebables, including graphic curves of discharging process, leading to: Rechargebables with a lot of mah are dropping fast to 3.7 Volts, and giving the major amount of their mah between 3.7 and 3.5 Volts. This is ok for VV mods but not for mechanical mods.

You should never run 18350s at .5 ohms . even 18650s is pushing it . I wouldnt be surprised if most of your batteries are shot and for some strange reason your 18350s are relatively staying alive . but don't expect that to last

getting ready to order some more 18650's .... curious to see the responses that come out this thread

For 1.2 ohms or above best choice is efest 2000mah , cheap and as good as aw 2000s , for lower resistance your gonna want the aw 1600 or mnke 1600

I've heard this at least once more in the past--I check my batts often, and they are all fine. Hell, I've even accidentally discharged one for over an hour on my .5 set-up to no ill effect. I tossed that batt just because, but it read fine once recharged (not advocating trying to use suspicious batteries--they are cheap, just get another).

I rotate 6 18350s. Never had an issue.

To check them you need to hook it up to a oscilloscope and get power output profile over time . Even mostly spent batteries will charge to 4.2 volts , what changes is internal chemistry of batteries and that battery that you discharged for an hour at .5 is not in pristine condition .

Get a kick. Any batter = same vape every time to the bitter end

Won't work--I vape around 25 watts and the kick is limited to 10.

I just got the MNKE 18650 in and it IS the 18650 that mimics the 18350's discharge power. I now have options.

Options are good. :)
