Why does it seem like most REO users vape high VG juice?

I have a theory on that. I think early on for alot of us using high VG or 100% vg, we went llooking for a better system than carto tanks. I personally started vaping Boba's 100VG after the first couple of weeks vaping and it just is so thick it did not play well in alot of tank systems and such for me. I went on the hunt for something better, found another bottom feeder and realized this was the solution for me, then went looking for a durable bottom feeder and have been in Reoville since then. I now do 95% DIY and vape 80vg-100%vg Boba's is the only vendor juice I still occasionly buy.

Yep, that's what brought me to Reoville! I was looking for a "rock-solid," low problem device for my precious Boba's Bounty. I knew I had to get into rebuilding (that stuff "wrecks" a coil and wick in no time flat--YMMV) and knew that dripping of some sort was going to be my solution (high VG + cheap clearo = booku problems for me). Um, yeah Reo it was.

Although I do vape all sorts of PG/VG ratios now, but they all go in the Reos, since they taste so good that way (even better than conventional dripping, IMHO, and I have no patience for drip, drip, vape, vape, drip, drip,...).

I run 30/70 PG/VG. I found out I like the fullness of the cloud but still remained smooth. I don't like the TH PG gives. I'd rather have the Throat Feel of the thick vape. Anything more than that and I find it mutes anything and is just so danged thick. Just got my REO and it seems to love my mix so far.

I do 80/20 pg/vg. I found that vg based juices just taste off. No matter the brand.

To the comment about pg in anti-freeze, yes it is. It is also used as a food preservative, in inhaler mists, and certain pet foods as well. There are different grades of pg though I know one is usp and another is farm grade. Don't use farm grade :p

I've read through just about half of these dang tests when I started vaping to make sure I wasn't going to die instantly. If you're concerned look at the test results. Propylene glycol - National Library of Medicine HSDB Database
