Even if you are there is no inherent reason. Regulators to a large degree render resistance irrelevant.


very good point, I agree, as long as the coil and wick are built to function properly it really doesnt matter what the settings are.

Because a dna 20 can provide more power than a mech as long as you keep the resistance high enough. There is a 6 amp cutoff though. Basically. If you can provide the voltage, there's no reason to sub ohm.

1. There are vv and vw that handle less than 1 ohm loads.
2. There's no inherent reason, and no, safety is not an issue. Regulated mods manage power independent of load.

The answer is, design parameters.

That, I believe, is the correct answer. A smaller operating envelope is cheaper. Simplistic, but true.
