When my husband quit smoking and started vaping so many moons ago I bought vendor ejuices for about 2 months before I stumbled on the DIY section of this board. After a few orders from Wizard Labs, Ecigexpress, Capellas and VZ, we are completely hooked on DIY. Sure, I've made a couple yuck juices, but I've made about 30+ blends that are wonderful. When I say "wonderful" I mean better than *ANY* store bought juice I've ever had. When once I'd make a juice order from a vendor and fill a shelf of a cabinet, I have an entire closet filled with DIY steeping juices sitting next to my canned tomatoes and salsa. Want to get into DIY and not know how to make a vapeable juice? Of course, taste is subjective but we have an entire board full of recipes here E-Liquid Recipes

Is DIY easy? It was for me. I'm still tweaking certain blends to make them better. Thanks for my DIY buddies like Mwa I've tried 10 different tobacco extractions (from leafonly.com) with some still steeping. It takes a bit of experimentation to find the right % of a flavor. Some are strong some are weak. Thanks to the generosity of the members here we can often find the concentrations of flavor x y and z by searching the board and flavor reviews.

DIY is not for everyone. It takes quite a bit of TIME. Tons of bottles and syringes. Trying flavors from multiple vendors till you get it right. If you have the means and you LIKE a vendor's juice, PLEASE keep buying from them. You support them, their families, the vaping cause in general. We shouldn't quibble about vendor bought vs DIY. The FDA has us all in their crosshairs and would rather we all just be smoking/chewing instead of vapeing the juice we all enjoy. :vapor: We are all in this together.

and YES I think we all should be using provaris  (thats a joke)

I guess I am lucky.... New to vaping and DIY'ing. I like reading up on things before diving into unknown territory so DIY hasn't been to difficult, also thank to the more knowledgeable members. My 2 cents for what it is worth besides the obvious and huge savings I do not have to sit calculate am I going to need more juice? Is it a holiday? Is it going to get here before the weekend? Will it be in stock? I just go down to my dungeon and make my own whenever the h*ll I feel like it :)

I don't like being at anyone's mercy but God's

Superb encouragement. Thank you.

Seconded !!!

Just haven't been smart enough yet
Just the research on it finding out all about it is a major task before even getting one's hands sticky, but I hope in the end it will have been well worth it.

I might make some killer flavors throwing a few ingredients together based on intuition etc but have a hell of a time duplicating it later on.
Good point on keeping exact notes at all times.
