Why doesn't everyone switch to e-cigs?!

Hi vapers,

I am a marketing student and I'm conducting a reserach for my master thesis which focuses on why some smokers make the switch to e-cigarettes while others don't. If you would be so kind, could you help out a bit? The survey can be found by copying this URL address into your browser: https://qtrial2012.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_8hOVpCCDNdxp1Vb . It only takes 10 minutes, no longer, and it's absolutely anonymous. Gathered data will be used for scope of the thesis only!

Oh I'll help a grad student out..

and I didn't know about it well other than the cigalikes, and ten minutes of sucking on one of those just made me want a ciggie *lol*...once I did and was sick of the effects of smoking..vaping it was!!

There's no "United States" option though on your survey...so I put UK so yah know..how that goes..

Great thread title. Since I started vaping, every time I see someone smoking, the first thing that pops into my head is, "why aren't they vaping?"

I was a bit confused in some of the early questions because it seemed like you were using smoking the describe what you do with an electronic cigarette. Made it kind of hard to figure out how to answer since I don't 'smoke' an electronic cigarette.

None of the advertisements appealed to me. Lol. I had to pick the one that irritated me the least. Being a woman, scantily clad women don't appeal to me that much. Otoh, Jenny McCarthy makes my skin crawl, so having to decide between a picture of Jenny McCarthy and a woman's crotch was very difficult. I went with the crotch shot, but hated both.

Another US/UK submission here. One of the few surveys that actually had close to my real answer in the choices. Usually I quit them when I get to the 3rd question and my answer is "watermelon" and the closest choice is "frog flying an airplane"
