Why don't auto batts get more respect?

Ok, I know all about the 'control' you get by pushing the button ( that fails once in awhile ), but after a few months of vaping for me, it was all about the ease of vaping.
Is it the re-filling that makes autos fail and that's why folks stick with the manual batts?
I guess what I'm wondering is, why push a button when just drawing on the batt is so much more satisfying?

Well, for me at least, autos used to have a disadvantage in that their cutoff could not be defeated/worked around as efficiently or easily as with a manual battery. With a manual, you can effectively extend the cutoff time by "double clutching," which means simply releasing the button for a fraction of a second in mid-vape in order to restart the cutoff timer.

But of course, times change, and V4L recently released the Diamond Series auto batteries, which boast a 20-second cutoff. Problem solved. I've never been able to reach the 20-second cutoff point.

Both manuals and autos still have their respective strong points, but the playing field has been leveled dramatically.

As for the people who seem worried about refilling a carto while using an auto batt: How's about you just remove the carto from the battery when refilling? Or am I missing something here?

The diamond batts converted me from a manual user to an auto lover. I'm just extra careful with refills, making sure not to overfill and that the battery ends of the cartos are clean. Often I will put my cartos on a manual PT for a vape or two just to make sure they are good to go before I introduce them to my diamonds.
