Welcome to ecf PaseQB. Technically if your flavoring is in vg, your juice will be 100% vg. I have never thought about this question. I have no problem with pg/vg percentages and since I have never read this question before, it appears most do not pay it any attention. But I understand different things bother different people and that's ok. I detest the term analog. :D Good luck to you and happy vaping. ecf is a wonderful place to be. :)

0PG as opposed to 100% VG to avoid confusion? Since technically no e-juice is 100%.

Not true. If you ask the people who are extremely allergic to any amount of PG you would find that, yes, there are flavorings that come in a non PG carrier and can produce a 100 VG liquid.

If you are quibbling about what may be both non PG and non VG ingredients - like any alcohol used as a flavoring carrier - I don't understand the point you are going for.

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
100% VG would have to be for nicotine in VG base rather than PG base like it often is. 0 VG wouldn't work were the nicotine used come from a PG base.

This is not including the PG/VG in whatever ratio that is added to the juice after nicotine is included in the juice mixture.

I'm not sure that made sense in type. It did in my head, though.

I've always gone for a really high percentage of Pg, 75% or more, but I'm starting to find that the juices that are 50/50 or close to it, are actually the best. Of course I might only find that true of non-tobacco flavors, because I can't abide a really sweet tobacco; I like a tobacco flavor that's light and smooth and ever so slightly bitter, with maybe a lightly-sweet undertone, and I think VG is too sweet for that kind of flavor. But for the sweet flavors, 50/50 really does seem to make the best ejuice. I just ordered some nicotine in 50/50, from ecigexpress, so hopefully soon I can try out this notion for myself. I also ordered some new flavors to try out.

It really varies from mixture to mixture, I'm finding. I favor a higher PG content, as well, but I lately have been adding a tad more VG to get more cloud action.

I avoided too much VG because it always messed with my lungs really bad, but I've found that if I just dilute it a tiny bit with water, it thins it enough that it doesn't trouble my lungs. And it really does make excellent tasting sweet-flavored juice; the blueberry muffin I'm vaping now is one of, if not THE best, I've tried so far, and the Pineapple Express from the same vendor (hard rock vapor) is just as great, and also 50/50.

I know that there are flavorings that use VG as the carrier but I have come across juices that are labeled 100% VG and upon further inquiry the flavoring is PG based which in fact makes it not 100% VG and from what I've seen a lot of the flavoring bases are either PG or alcohol based.

I mostly vape plain and I've been considering adding distilled water to the mixture to smooth it out. I just never seem to get around to BUYING the water...LOL

but but,,,, I do vape 100% VG ( well 99.97% since there is a tad bit of water in it) on occasion to determine what the sweetness flavor impact it will have on my extractions ( I do natural extracted tobaccos)....

Yes but you are using pure vg as a baseline yes? My question was in reference ejuice.
