I think he might have said that because it really sounds like you have already made up your mind. If you don't have a real need for a second PV, then you keep your old one because you want to and we can't determine your wants.
I understand your point but just wanted to get others opinions that have multiple devices to make sure I don't regret doing anything. It was only an honest question.

You said your new device is superior and that you don't need a backup, when posters suggested you keep the other as a backup...
I did miss that. I couldn't be without a backup. You can. So you don't need our permission to sell your device if that's what you want to do. We're all different and have different vaping needs.

I would at least keep it until you've determined your new device is the equal to, or better than the one you'd give up.
Well you might find the VTR is a better traveler than the new one you're getting. If you're using it with a tank that fits in the ring it will be more secure for throwing in a bag than the new one even though the new one will probably (hopefully) be great. If it were me I'd keep the VTR for that reason alone. But that's just me.
I think that's solid advice. As a casual, "can live without it" vaper, I wouldn't sweat having backup devices.
Like most people said backups. I know you said you'd just buy another, but what if it breaks and all your local vape shops are closed? Can you go without a vape until they open or if you're working or going to school wait until your break or would you buy a pack?
It's also nice to have both, you can use 1 just for dripping and 1 just for tanks so you won't have to keep switching them back and fourth and won't have to charge up or replace batteries as often.

Sell it or keep it, but..... you said if something happened, you would not mind being without....... That is logic, and good logic..... BUT, I know how I am, suddenly when something does happen it all of a sudden becomes an obsession. You THINK you can do with out , but because you CANT it make you crazy.
THat used to happen to me when I smoked. I could make a pack last for days. I know just how many cigarettes I need daily, BUT when I was short of money , thats when Id get the cravings..... It would burn in my mind, that I NEEDED it. Id run out to the store , get a pack and then I would go back to my logical state and it might take days to open up that back up pack.......
Just my 2 cents...... Its not needed to have 2 , but its nice , just in case......
