I dont like this inconvenience. Im in northern Westchester, NY. Every single gas station, supermarket, pharmacy, and convience store sells cancer stick cigarettes but I cant find any stores nearby that sells eliquid or cartomizers or any ecig accessories. I can only get that stuff off the internet but it takes too long to wait for it. Whats taking so long for these products to be widely available.

Have you looked at the vender who advertise on VaporSearchUSA?

VaporSearchUSA

There are several in NY. Don't know if they have B & M stores, but regardless, they would probably get your stuff to you quicker. I always order more stuff long before I need it, so I don't run out...and as far as liquid is concerned, I make my own. Somthing you might consider.

I think Retailers are taking a Wait and See Approach to e-Cigs.

Right now, e-Cigs are sort of in the “Wild West” phase. Untested, Unregulated and Untaxed.

There are Bans purposed in Many Municipalities and even some States. There is also things in the works with the FDA which could Drastically Alter the e-cig Landscape at the Federal Level.

And of course, there is also the Potential Risk, as it seems with ANYTHING in the US, that someone will bring a Hundred Billion Dollar Lawsuit against Retailers claiming that e-Cigs harmed them.

Many people in Business will tell you that selling a Product that is intended for Human Consumption that is Not Regulated is a Very Risky. And if you do, you better have Big Time Liability Insurance and the Legal Will to fend off all comes.

So when put together, I think many Retailers are Leery of Jumping into e-Cigs at this time.

I think what they are all waiting on is the FDA to say they are not going to try to hold the industry back (the UK is a different story mind you). what with the study they did a while back where they found toxic substances in some brands cart. the US market is just so regulated with all of the drugs and medicines that its hard for something like this to take a real foothold. give it time, the supreme court ruled against the FDA and e-cigs are being classified as tobacco products not smoking cessation products so in time you will (hopefully) see more and more smoke shops stocking kits and juices.

im in Oregon and before i got my first kit online i looked at several of the larger smoke shops and they had kids and refill carts. much more expensive vs. online, but if your in that much of a fix you can go that route while you wait for your juice to get to you in the mail. past that just order more juice about a week out from when you think your going to run out of juice so your not in a situation where your out of juice and need to find some in a hurry (sorry your out of juice though).

Yeah, it's one thing if Future Regulations make selling e-Cigarettes / e-Liquids Impractical or Impossible to sell causing you to Close your Web Site.

It is quite another if you are bound to a 2 Year Lease in a Shopping Center and have put 50 or 60,000$ into opening a Brick and Mortar Store.
