To me, no. They feel extremely comfortable. You are aware of them for the first few minutes, maybe up to an hour if it's your first time, but they just feel so natural since they provide total natural mobility to your feet and all of its tiny bones. I wore them on a job yesterday while doing some networking in a new office, and after 11 hours on my feet, I had no pain. The same stint on Friday wearing a pair of good ol' steel toes had me crying for bed by the end of the day.

The only odd thing about the feeling is having your toes encompassed, but that sensation fades fast when you can feel your individual toes flex as you walk/run.

I wear them barefoot for short durations, but have Injinji toe socks for any longer periods, mainly just to deal with sweat.

I've never worn mine with socks. Do they feel the same or are they a bit tighter?

We have a country of around 250000 and at least 12 shops that I know of. When I am out and about I always have my in my shirt pocket. I have been asked about it a few times. A couple of people at have them on a lanyards. Most of them are only seen when in use. I have seen a few elsewhere. But they all seem to eGos with a CE5 or similar.

That is how it is with my wife. Even though she owns her home she still goes outside.

I could never understand that. No smoking inside your OWN home! That's kinda like having plastic covered furniture and lampshades. I mean, who are you saving it for??? If you're gonna sell the house, you'll most probably repaint the whole thing inside, aside from shampooing the rugs, and Fabrezing the furniture, and everything else you have to do. But aside from selling a house? There's no reason for that.

I vape in public but not alot. I am still trained from smoking 20 years to find my time out corner to smoke. I just moved offices. Used to vape all the time but now I am downstairs from the Big Wigs so not sure how they would take it. I vape mostly in my car and man o man, looks funny when I have to roll down the windows to let the vapor out. Big clouds. LOL Haven't seen too many others around the city out and about vaping.

I don't get it either. My house is for me to enjoy, and when I smoked, I smoked in my house. I have friends who still smoke, but do not smoke inside their own homes and also, they don't smoke in their own cars. Maybe they use it as a way to limit their smoking?

This is getting OT, but those kinds of people are the ones that park way, way out in the parking lot at the mall, and then hike all the way into the stores, so no one will ding their car doors. Didn't you buy your car so you wouldn't have to walk?:)

Stale smoke smells worse than "fresh" smoke, and I have kids, so outside I went. I now vape inside.

As for the topic, I rarely even see smokers out and about. When I do vape in public, I hear the fake coughs from the people on the other side of the street. I just laugh.

I'm glad you made the transition to inside. Kudos to you, Miira, for keeping the smell from your kids. I never had children so don't/can't really comment on that aspect.

As far as the fake coughs though, I had that enough with smoking analogs, at casinos, in their SMOKING section, no less! I always blew smoke away from anyone, like straight up? And the idiot non-smoker (IN the smoking section???) would wave their hand up to chase the smoke away. Can't fix stupid!

I vape very openly. I do it with respect but openly. I took my wife and son to the Hampton Roads Tattoo Festival this past weekend and decided I was going to vape throughout the day. To my surprise there were a ton of tattoo artists and people getting tattoos rocking eGo setups and a local B&M even had a booth there. I ran into no less than 10 vapers using mech mods. Needless to say it was a good day.

I was even having a conversation with one of the security staff while vaping away. It was a very shocking experience in the best way possible. Guess we just have it good here in VA. No attempts at stupid bans and vaping is generally well accepted.

I live in a relatively large city and have rarely seen anyone vaping until last Tuesday at our VFW meeting. I asked where he got it and he turned me onto a relatively new shop a couple miles away. Now I am really getting into it and yes the store is one of a chain of three in this city and there are quite a few more. Seems everybody is selling the cheap ecigs lately, and most of them look like regular cigarettes so it is hard to get an accurate number of people vaping.

Besides my local B&M, I have only seen one person vape in public. Since I started vaping, I am always on the lookout for others.

On the smoking inside thing, I quit smoking in my house and vehicle around 10 years ago. I hated my house and stuff smelling like stale smoke. (even though I did, lol) But I DO vape in my house! :)

I see other people in cars vaping occasionally but rarely out it public. I vape openly but not in crowded places. I have had the fake coughs, hand waving & dirty looks while on a cruise ship in the smoking areas & non-smoking areas. I laugh at the fake coughers, too just like I did when they would walk through instead of around me when I was in the smoking area.

I didn't smoke in my house because I was the only smoker and I enjoyed the "me" time outside or in the garage. I do vape in the house and I'm enjoying not freezing in the winter or letting bugs inside in the spring & summer.
