Today, I had a moment of utter terror when my Lavatube slid out of my hand in the parking lot at work. It hit the blacktop hard, and the drip tip went flying... well, part of it did, anyhow, as the rest of my pretty Cherry Vapes tip was still in the carto.

But not only did my Phiniac survive, it was unscathed. Not a chip or nick, no cracks. Perfect condition. Even my Lavatube got a little ding on it, but the Phiniac was impervious.

Any tank that can survive a very solid impact with the ground is great. :)

I have been looking at those tanks too. Kinda pricey compared to some other tanks but from what I have read and seen from reviews they sound like they are worth it.
Its money well invested for quality product and outstanding customer service! You won't be disappointed guranteed! :)

I've gotten more Phiniac tanks since I posted my review. The one I mentioned in the review has now had three major drops, and still looks brand new... although I literally broke a carto.

Yeah, these are SERIOUSLY tough tanks.

I now have one of the blown-detail tanks as well, and while I was initially concerned that perhaps the colored decorative glass might crack off if anything happened, I am now pretty sure that it won't, although that particular tank hasn't taken a severe fall yet (just that original sandblasted tank seems to fall, I dunno why). I also have one of the textured tanks, and you know, those are really simple and elegant.

Still loving my Phiniacs. Going to likely buy more over the years, although while I have about eight or nine I want now, I'm going to have to limit these purchases so as to not kill my budget! :)
