Why I love vaping

I'm a geek. And I mean a full on, let's spend Saturday night building something, kind of geek and the thing I love most is the bleeding edge of technology.

When I first started vaping I did it to save my money, and also my life, from analogues. But as soon as I saw all the plethora of gadgets and trouble shooting forums/discussions I was hooked. vaping, for me, is like taking smoking and bringing it into the world of technology and I am in love with it. 3 months in and I still give myself the occasional nicotine headache from playing around to much (I use 6mg).

Just wondering if anyone else felt the same way or has had a similar experience getting into vaping?

If it wasn't for rda's and building coils i'm pretty sure i'd be back to analogs by now. Just too bad the saving money part never happened haha

There's a whole geeks, er...I mean Modders forum..., full of folks that feel the same as you. They're busy building and refining the next generation PVs and toppers....

I'm right there with ya. I don't particularly care to learn everything about vaping and all of the different mods, but I do enjoy learning how to build coils and which materials work best. I like to tinker with things and for now, coils/wicks are where my interests lie.

It was all downhill from "you can rebuild a vivi coil you know?". Next thing you know I've got an ohmeter and I'm trying to all different kinds of wicks. Still not tried a steel one though. Maybe soon though.

I just need to decide which bigger mod I want now. I just got a couple of itaste VV v3.0s for work, but I want something bigger for the house. I'll probably start with a vamo. It's so common I think I'd be missing out on a shared experience, but the innokin SVD is looking nice, and within my current price range.
