I got my Provari about 3 weeks ago. I ordered it with a Kanger ProTank.

As I'm sure it seems to many newbs, the tank seemed way more convenient than anything else at the time of purchase. At that time, I was sure that I would be tankin' it up and paid no mind to anything else.

I must be honest...when I first got my PV, I was pretty uninspired by it all. The flavors I had gotten from ProVape tasted amazing at first vape, but I quickly got tired of them.

Then my tank started giving me some problems, and I hated having to clean it every single time I was in the mood for a new flavor.

So I tried dripping with a 510 atty that I am so glad I bought with the Provari.

At first, dripping seemed like a royal pain in the .... I kept looking for reasons to go back to the tank.

But after a week of dripping, I have evolved into a chain vape extremist.

All of the HHV flavors I had previously reviewed (with the exception of a couple that just aren't for me) came to life and started tasting incredible. I didn't even really like Boba's at first in the tank! But now I see what all of the hype is about.

Now, I look forward to dripping. I love having the option to change juices every 10 hits or so. I am still a total newb, but thus far, nothing compares. Unless something new is invented that provides me with the same flavor, ability to switch flavors, and gives me the same vape output, I do not see myself as anything but a dripper from now on.

I just wanted to share this with those who have not given dripping a chance due to some of its inconveniences. Please give it at least a valiant try for a week or so, and if it's not your thing, go back to your favorite method. :2c:

Vape mail almost here...and I'm so excited....where was I before I started vaping?!?!:vapor:

Glad you've found a new lease of life for vaping. Just a suggestion , ebaron dripper pro was made for the pro vari. I got the spiral on my reo. Best vape for me so far.

Awesome...thanks so much. I just found it for sale and bookmarked the page. I'll have to grab one as soon as I get paid. It looks like exactly what I have been looking for...a drip system that is capable of handling more liquid.

A couple days ago, I ordered the Cisco SR306 2.5 ohm Atomizer (2 and a drip tip for $19.99 deal), but didn't know about the EBaron. Wish I had done some more research before ordering.

Thanks again!

Thanks man, I appreciate the advice. I still don't know much at all, so I love learning about new devices.

Does the IGO fit on the Provari? Or would I need to buy a different kind of PV to use it?

    Thanks in advance!

    Depends.
The Provari works fine with a SR/LR coils in the iGo, but you can't use sub ohm stuff.

Oh and I said "No Thanks" after seeing that video about the Aurora

I'm sort of expecting a follow-up "Why I switched to tank RBAs and kept a couple drippers"-thread in a few weeks ;)

Not bashing on dripping. Just, for me, it's not outdoors compatible. Currently contemplating if I should get a VMAX or a Reo... but can't convince myself to pull the trigger. Very expensive way of figuring if it's for me.

Wish someone came up with some sort of short tubular mechanical hybrid with an integrated small tank for bottom feeding. One press of a button and it feeds a drop and fires. Actually, think I just did. Now, if someone could steal the idea and ship me one... and give royalties. Lots of royalties.

No worries. That's the thing with dripping, best of everything but 3 or 4 drips at a time not the best. Those things take about 15 to start her off and 10 or so to top up. But I guess you know that now. It's happened to me loads, buy something and then someone says, have tried this or that and I'm like errr payday ain't for a while and wish I knew that first. While I'm at it viscous ant cyclone is supposed to be good one too. Haven't tried that yet but just a heads up! Vape on duuuuude!

Damn this forum is active! So many replies, so quick. Incredible for something that is probably still considered somewhat of a "niche" hobby. Really awesome.

WattWick: I'm sure that when I try something else I will indeed have another "Why I Switched" thread :D Still so many vaping vehicles I have yet to try.

TJ: When you say sub ohm, does that just mean low ohm stuff...like 1.5ohm area?

Vale: Yeah, it sucks when I fall short in my research. I usually do research overload, and am stuck trying to narrow it down. Will check out the Vicious Ant Cyclone (who thinks of these names?) in my searches before deciding. Thanks again!

The number one problem with dripping isn't that it takes two hands and shouldn't be done when driving, etc. No, that's number two.

The number one problem with dripping, at least for me, is that it spoils you for anything else.

These are why I wound up with REOs with Reomizer 2.0 RBAs--one-handed dripping, all day long, even while driving, using a trackpad, or petting lap cat of the minute.

Could ya help a newbie out and tell me why? Might help me when mine arrives.

Mainly because I already have a good bottom feeder. (Reo) I also believe that in the future you will see folks complaining about them leaking. So I'm kinda saying "no thanks, I already have something better".

TJ: When you say sub ohm, does that just mean low ohm stuff...like 1.5ohm area?

The Provari will max at 5.25v with a 1.5 ohm coil. It's amp limit is 3.5a.

By sub ohm, less than one ohm is what I meant that it won't fire. The Provari will read it as a short. The Safety Features in the Provari really do work.
