Why is $12.95 your least expensive shipping option?

Seriously? I know that the USPS has cheaper ways to ship than 2 day service. If someone is ordering a small item you should not force them to spend $16.95 to ship it. $12.95 for Fed Ex is still way too expensive. Why are you gouging your customers madvapes?

First Class Mail Parcel was not one of the options when I went to place my order. I later looked & saw that that is the default method of shipping but I tried to advance without selecting one of the more expensive options & it said I had to select one of the options.

It just happened to me.
Maybe they are gouging???? or the checkout is "accidentally" overcharging for certain items (which does happen at other vendor too).

I wanted a magnetic eGo for my disabled brother, but I'm NOT paying $8 to 10 for shipping!!!

I tested the cart several times. I add the mag ego, and 4 18650-batteries. If I remove the mag-ego battery, the shipping magicaly lowers to $2.95 by giving me the First Class USPS option.

Try the test!

Look at the shipping cost, and then,

Add this Magnetic eGo battery

POOOF!!! $9.28 for Priority 2-day! ??? Anyway, they lost a sale, ...this time.

I spent half a day shopping for the perfect eGo for a disabled smoker, (we have little funds) and I was disappointed enough with this experience that I spent another 20 mins writing this post!

I'm just telling myself, maybe that ego magnetic battery wasn't meant to be, maybe there isnt any info on it for a reason?

EDIT: They fixed the problem, and pretty fast! Shipping is cheap again!

We use direct rates from USPS for our shipping options. In this case, the weight of the magnetic ego battery was incorrect which caused the items to be forced to be shipped through USPS priority.

If you run your test again you'll see they are able to be shipped by USPS First Class now.

It just happened to me.


POOOF!!! $9.28 for Priority 2-day! ???

A 1 lb. package shipped via USPS Priority 2-Day in a small flat rate box, coast to coast, (CA to CT), costs $6.51.

A 2 lb. package would be in the 9 dollar range.

If you're paying that much for a small package 1 lb. or less, the vendor is making a profit on the shipping, even if they are shipping it USPS Priority Mail.

I figured it was something like that. Thank you for resolving the problem so fast. I think I'll go fill my cart back up again. I understand the risks of using USPS, but I really like them.

I'm curious to see if sales for the Magnetic eGo pick up now.

Just to let all know I sent a ticket to Madvapes asking about why it was so much & they refunded the shipping cost. I was very pleased with their response. It is so refreshing to get the product in a timely manner(unlike an order from China I have been waiting on for over a month now), & actually get more than apologies for customer service(see previous aside).
