Why is a Provari P3 even a viable choice.

LOL...no dear, but I have to say there were a few graphics I thought of posting...most of which would cause a ruckus...

So maybe I meant...

I bought a 'vari two years back. It looks like hell, but to be fair, it has seen good use. The 'tronics go flaky once in awhile, and I park it, then they work again. Whatevah. When it's working I like it, but I think it is gone for good now.

Some thoughts. Lotta bucks for two years. The electronics no longer much serve me except to check if my atty is the problem when something is wrong. I can buy a lot of mech's over two years with that kinda dough. The thing is huge and heavy too for the battery size. Not Vamo huge, but not that far off.

I went to peek on their site, saw the Titanium. I like my Mark Bugs Wizards, but not only are they light, they're tiny and I like that part most. But thought I would look it up and I see the V3 discussions. I don't need 20 watts. I don't really need voltage reg. I mostly drip LR atomizers at battery strength and it works well for me without hassles. I do like that it is American and built well. The shutoff at low voltage probably saves my batteries from early failure from overdraining on a mech.

Anyway, I'm ambivalent about the Provari. I own a lot of different hardware from $25 K100's and Kylins, to Evics, vamos, Caravela's, Wizards. They all have something I love and something I hate. The cheapies have their own issues, but the costly mods are painful to lose on the road. So while they're my faves, they're more for home use. Unfortunately, at the price, the Provari kinda falls into that category although I travel with it a lot. Unlike the other pricey mods, it is easy to replace. Looking at the price, I have to remind my self I have enough stay home mods. What I need is something well made and inexpensive, which doesn't exist. I have tools at home that make the Provari circuitry redundant. So, I guess I pass.

Wish I owned the company though. Their staying power and the fact I considered rebuying one are surprising given the pace of change over the last couple years.

Did you ever see the sketch of Robin Williams playing the Scot that invented golf?

I am sure it is on YouTube if you haven't.

PRICELESS!

He did a USO show for us in Iraq and did that skit..... Funny as $#*% :p

I'll say this once in this thread, I've said it in others. Not all complaints are from provari haters. I line the idea of provari. I would like to have one, and would try and save my money for one.....IF it did what I wanted. Sadly it doesn't. I need a 30+ watt to get what I want out of it. I personally feel they missed the boat with this one. At just 10 more watts they could have increased their target buyers numbers by a lot. Provari lovers would still buy them, and people like me would be more willing to try them. Please don't feed me the "they decided 20 watts was safer" hooey. They could easily do things that would make 30....even 40 watts perfectly safe.

Not sure what a Provari hater really is. I can say Provape knows it's customer base better then any company. I know there are 1000's waiting for the P3 to arrive. Provape follows some simple logic.

“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.”

As far as 30 and 40 watt mods Hana makes them and makes them with high standards yet what sells the most is the cheap Hana clones. So I don't buy into if ProVape made a 30 or 40 watt mod it would add sales.

There clones may sell better (a portion of that would be due to availability), but you can't say Hana doesn't sell any of the 30 & 40 watts mods, so that logic is a bit convoluted. How could making a mod that suited a larger group of people not increase sales?

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

Edit to fix wording....darn you auto spell
