I have been using rebuildable drippers for about a year now. I purchased a duel coil recently and find the flavor is more intense verses a single coil. Why? My builds are 1.5 Ohms. When I use a single coil my volt setting is 3.5v. On a duel coil my volts are 4.5v cause 3.5v takes to long to warm up. I suspect the flavor is better because the coils are vaporizing my juice at a lower temperature as well as a larger surface area. But, am I correct? Or is there more going on?

The design of the RDA could be affecting flavor as well.

More surface area, generally speaking dual coils are a bit warmer than single coils (2 coils heating the atty up) and higher heat = stronger flavor. More juice being vaporized at once too :p

Thanks, I have noticed my juice usage went up and battery life went down.

Both atty's are stock. Squid for the single. and Caterpillar for the dual. Only thing changed was the coil to 1.5 Ohms. Lowest I am willing to go on my ProVari.

What he meant was chamber size on the atomizer... Smaller chamber = hotter, which = more flavor due to warmer vape.
