why is it that every time I use blank horizontal coil cartos they start to taste burned?

it doesn't matter what method I use to fill, how much I fill, or how long I let them sit, every time I try to fill up a blank horizontal coil cartomizer, it tastes good on the first couple draws, but then I get the burnt taste? I use a bloog battery and a volt passthru, so voltage isn't the issue here either, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

either the condom method or just by dripping some directly into the polyfill from the top until I see a little leak out, then I blow through it, hold the battery upright (cartridge on the bottom) so that if it leaks it'll leak out the mouthpiece and take about 2 puffs to dry out excess liquid. When I do the second method, I always go all the way around until I don't see any more dry polyfill.

EDIT: also, it's the juice burning for sure; vapor production is totally normal, I just get that nasty taste in the background of the flavor, and i feel burning on the roof of my mouth. would using a v4l charger on a 3.6v battery somehow mess it up and raise the voltage?

The v4l charger has no effect on the regulation circuit of the gen 2 batts Sqirl sir from my tests. :)

As for the carto, tighter filling material can cause for liquids to be take longer to absorb, same goes if the liquid is thicker (higher vg percentage). Would suggest using the taryn spin method of filling if you don't want to go syringe method. Here's a video showing how to make one out of various items. Hope this helps. :)

so I cut the hole wrong in my battery holder, and I just said "screw it" and I flooded the crap out of it on purpose by letting it sit in the condom with juice all the way up to the brim of the metal for about an hour, that seems to do the trick

EDIT: (10-15 puffs later) now it's starting to taste funny, not quite burnt but it's weird.... last time I tasted this was with the green nicotine e-cigs at the mall, and only with specific flavor (their "oriental" flavor, in case anybody's used their ripoff product and knows what I'm talking about) it almost tastes like a really gross cinnamon roll flavor or something.

I was having the same problem with all of my cartos, until I finally gave up on all filling methods but the syringe. (Thank you Mr. Morandir835 :) ) I fill it up until the juice overflows the the center tube and pools on top. Then I poke the filler with the syringe to make sure the juice gets in the middle and doesn't just sit on the the sides. Then I syphon off the extra juice with the syringe, after waiting a min. or so. And I don't exactly "blow" it out, I just carefully and gently puff it out of the air tube, because if I blow hard, the juice inside gets rearranged. And, of course, I dab the batt end dry from the outside. Works well, no more burnt juice taste.
