did I get a bad batch of blanks?

so I've been using stuff from Smokeless Image the last couple orders I've made, and for the most part their stuff is great, except for one thing: a pack of blanks I bought. it seems no matter how much I filled any of them, I get the unmistakable taste of burning cotton every time I take the first vape. I've filled them with the condom method and by dripping juice into the top (avoiding the hole in the middle of course) and no matter what I do they just burn. it's not a voltage issue; the only 2 batteries I have now are a regular sized bloog and a volt passthru, so it's all 3.6v stuff. and I haven't had this problem at ALL using their prefilled cartos and just filling them up after a few puffs. did I get a faulty batch or am I overlooking something?

I don't use them but I do remember not too long ago their blanks were having that exact issue. If you look in their subforum I am sure that you will find the threads. Good luck.

What kind of juice are you vaping? I've been using their cartos for a couple of months now and the only time I've ever had any burnt taste was when they ran dry.

Don't know their cartos specifically, but it can take an hour on some to get the liquid to soak into the very center and not burn of a brand new blank carto. It depends how tight they are wound near the core. Did you wait a long time?

I had a few a while back that tasted really bad. I took them apart, and even though my top dripping fill method normally worked, these had dry patches on the polyfill.

Next I tried condom filling, but in the end I resorted to syringe filling. Now they work perfectly.

This has happened to me with both the SI's and Bloog's at times. I put them aside and then tried them a week or so later and they where fine. I think it's like the others have said, and sometimes just takes longer for juice to soak in.
