Why is my Bobas becoming so bland?

I thought it was supposed to get better and better with steeping...but now that Ive entered my 2nd week on the same bottle...I think its actually getting worse.

It doesnt taste bad...it just tastes like nothing...the power is diminished. Inhaling tastes like nothing and I get a faint sweet taste on exhale...not the power punch of sugar flavor it once was.

I got an Ego 1000 with LR boge carts...they still produce tons of vapor...so its not the cart...it just tastes like nothing.



On top of that its performance in carts is varied...sometimes it hits clean, sometimes its takes more effort to get something out of it, sometimes it doesnt seem to be sizzling at all. I dont see why they cant use a thinner liquid like 80/20 or even 90/10 and just add extra flavor...cause this stuff is like elmers glue.

...and unfortunately at the moment it tastes like it too.

Are you still using the same carto? I had to go on an AVE vacation because of similar problems though.

Do you have an atty? If you do, try dripping it. That should instantly tell you if it's a hardware or other issue.

What else are you vaping? It sounds like you need some fresh cartos but you also need to mix it up a little. You need to have some flavors completely different from you preferred flavor profile or everything tastes bland after awhile.

Every time you open that bottle, you are losing flavor and nicotine. Best to get some smaller dripper bottles and store the bulk of it in a cool dry spot as untouched as possible.

Nah...its not hardware...ive had problems in mulitple carts.

Its not a huge issue...it still has taste...it just settled too much.

I do need a go to drip atty...any suggestions? Something that will last awhile since I wouldnt be dripping all that much.

I typically bounce back and forth between this and Casablanca from BWB...they are my only go-to flavors as of now...Im still on the search for more though.

The smaller bottle idea is a good idea though...I just keep using the same 30ml bottle. I was just under the impression that it got better with steeping and being exposed to air would help the process...not lose flavor though. I dont leave it open...but just keep opening the same bottle for small periods of time.

Ive had Boge carts last forever and the one it is in now is only 2 days old...it produces great vapor and works well...just tastes like fruit inspired air at the moment.

...I mean Im Casablance 40% and Bobas 60% pretty much exclusively. Casablanca tastes great...maybe I just need to put Bobas down for a week or so.

I've had one for three months and another for a month. Very solid units. An alcohol soak and a dry burn and these things keep truckin and they switch flavors real easy if you are sampling flavors.

Thats good news...I can understand a cart lasting a week but if Im buying a beast like that Id be mad if it broke down that quick. Ill pick one of these guys up soon.

How many drips do you use and how long does it last till you need to refill it?

I mean 3 drips isnt one hit is it?

2-3 drips and about 5-10 pulls depending on how fast you are vaping

I have some of those atty and here is what I do because dripping a few drops all the time sucks but the flavor is soso much better i go and get the pipe screens from the smoke shop and roll them lose and place them in the atty so they look like donuts I put one ib 4 drops put the second in 4 drops put the third and three drops then put my drip tip in and vap i can usually get about an hours worth of vaping in 10 drops

I've stuck blue foam in. Because of the drip shield in them, it keeps it from touching the coil. But I can taste the blue foam when I vape so I stopped. It worked for filler when I cart using cartridges but I guess it's different when you are breathing directly through it. Metal mesh might be the key. I swear sometimes this is what it must be like to have been blind and suddenly see. I can taste things now I really don't want to. I'll probably even taste the metal mesh lol!

actually it sounds like you are using cartomizers (cartos) and not carts. just to keep the discussion from getting too confusing. don't forget to drink water....I've been vaping almost a year and I still lose my taste buds sometimes. more water and some time makes it better...
