Why is Pro Tank 2 so much better with 'fouling' flavors?

Here's something I can't figure out: one of my all day vape (ADV) flavors is coffee + caramel or other sweet flavor.

With my MT3s tank, I find the coils gunk up and need to clean every day, and replace the coil & wick every 2 - 3 days.

From what I had heard, that was pretty much to be expected with these types of juices, and really not such a big deal (especially using the inexpensive pre-made coil / wick products from fasttech at 5 cents each, or making your own)

When I picked up a new Aspire BDC tank, I switched my coffee + combination to the Pro Tank 2 and I can go easily 5 days without messing with the head!

What I can't figure out is why?

Same coils & wick between the 2, which is what I thought was the key factor in life-expectancy.

The head design?

Idle curiosity...
