Would you buy pre-cut cart filler

  • Yes

Just curious - We can buy carts, but not cart material. I for one wouldn't mind buying a bag of 100 or so cart fillers for my 801 and 901...sure would save the hassle of having to cut and mess with fluval or poly fill. Or maybe a one size piece that when you cut it in half fits the smaller carts. I wouldn't mind a little.

Anyone else?

Who knows, maybe if the results are good, one of the suppliers will offer it up.

the only reason i said no , is because you can just as easily buy a new pack of blank carts for pretty cheap these days , are you THAT attached to the plastic bits of the cart? sometimes i re-stuff with moderate success , but %80 of the time i just toss the cart , grab a new one and fill it up.

Yes. Yes I am.

Actually, never really thought about it that way I guess. The only thing that really comes to mind in that regard is the differences in wicking bridge height and I may not be able to easily buy the "correct" plastic bits for each type of atomizer I have on hand to allow for proper contact of filler to wicking bridge. 801 styles in particular come to mind with the DSE, David Yang and RN styles all being just a tad different from one another.

Well, for the same reason -- mainly size/capacity -- there's a difference in the amount, and even the type of material in the most popular cartridges. The RN 4075, for instance, has a flat bit of trifolded poly, while the DSE 901 has a smaller, balled-up bit of poly. The 501 has more material, and the 801 has more than the 501, etc., etc.

I doubt any realistic business person would go to the trouble of marketing just the stuffing for each individual cart (which would likely lose its shape in storage/shipping). And even if someone did, the response would probably be: "Why should I pay that much money when I can do it myself with a cheap bag of whatever from Walmart?":w00t:

I personaly would like replacement fillers..but maybe not precut. I just like the original filling stuff. As for buying new carts..the carts are cheap..but not when you add shipping. You would have to wait until you had something else to order and then you would have to order from a place that carries the empty carts.
I wish there was a P.V. and parts store..full line of juice and DIY section. Vape-mart!

You can get a 10 pack of carts for 3 bucks.

This makes roughly a years supply worth of carts (at 4 refills per cart on the 801, as a one cart a day user for me) roughly $30. Even with shipping, that's rediculously cheap, and far less expensive than say.. juice. Which i'm also going to try and get my hands on a 2 year supply from CT.

Here for me is the ultimate cheapo cost saver package

Light vaper (Paid $65 for mine)
50 attys ($250)
1.2 liters of juice ($80)
200 carts $60

Total cost for a 2 year's supply of e-cig materials (not including shipping...) $450. That's about 5 months of analogs at my previous consumption rate. pssh. Now, attys on the other hand, phew, that's a different story, twice as high of a yearly expendeture as juice, and 4x the price of carts. Carts don't even factor that heavily into the equation.

I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed that the amount of filler in the new carts is inconsistent. One cart will be packed tight while another will have a thin wisp of filler material. I usually wind up trimming some off or re-stuffing with new batting depending on what I find inside the new one.

I originally got a big bag of poly fill a few years ago to pack the speakers in my Jeep for better sound when the top's down. I forgot about it until I pulled it out to stuff a sock monkey I've been knitting for my grand-nephew...and realized it's the same stuff I've been reading about here to stuff carts.

I don't chew my carts and since I like to keep my e-cig as green as possible, I don't see why I should throw them away if they're still usable...now I have carts and stuffing for years :)

Unless anyone else needs a lovingly hand-knit sock monkey.... ;)

Granted, a big bag is cheap to buy but what am I gonna do with all this stuff?

Pillows! Lots of pillows!

Actually, I have a bag or two of that stuff, but I haven't used it for carts. I wash out the filler from purchased carts once or twice, depending on how foul or compressed it's become and then blot it on a paper towel (which takes all of a few minutes). When it looks like it's given up the ghost, I toss it and use a new one.

Hi,
Where do you get 1.2l juice for $80 (& u dont have to order for a total of $500 or more)? Also is it possible to choose different flavours in 30ml/50ml bottles?
Also where do you get $5/attys?
200 carts could cost $34 at ruyan, isnt it?
thanks,
kallol.
