I was prescribed with a menthol treatment once. The apparatus look like a special jug half-filled with steaming hot water. Just underneath the mouthpiece is a compartment filled with menthol crystal and I have to inhale through the mouth piece. In principal, its very similar to vaporizer. An 'inhaler' is also a suitable name.
So as I was vaping in a supermarket, a supervisor approached me saying that I was not allowed to smoke there. I explained the its not a cigarette. He demanded to know what it was. I responded, "Its an inhaler." Then he asked me why there were smoke. It was useless to explain. People were giving me strange looks but none complained that it was stinking! Some even asked why it was not smelly.
How do we educate people? None smokers should read this forum too. Vaporizer could be used as an alternative to the bulky apparatus mentioned earlier. That apparatus is dangerous should accident happen because it is filled with hot water. Need some medical experts to study pv and see that it can also to be used in medical treatment as the one I underwent.
