Why are Cdn suppliers cowering to Health Canada? You should be ecstatic that you may actually be charged and get to present your case in court. Not a single jury in this country would convict you, HC doesn't have a legal leg to stand on, your nicotine comes from the same suppliers as everyone else, including pharma and big tobacco.

Stand up for your rights, continue to sell nicotine juice until the RCMP knocks on your door and gives you your day in court. Believe me in front of a jury you will win.

60k Cdn's die each year from smoking tobacco, the FDA's study shows ecigs to be far less toxic than traditional cigarettes.

If only it were that easy. We have no idea of knowing the implications these vendors may face if they proceed. Lawyers aren't free and if it was your livelihood that had just been pulled out from under you, I'm guessing you would feel differently. There are also things going on behind the scenes here that we are not aware of so it is unfair to say they are running away.

and by the way HC is trying to make this a drug delivery case (liquid delivery case) which we all know it's not it's an alternative to tobacco case, I'd be responding to the HC letters with, um excuse me where's BT's DIN numbers and their safety study's. Smoke/Fog machines have been on the market for more than a decade and are used in 1000's of dance bars and film sets around the country. The DIN's and safety study's for those should be more than adequate for ecig's and if those machines don't need a DIN or proof that they are safe neither should ecigs.

My warning to suppliers who are thinking about applying to HC for market approval is to remember that your product is the same as fog/smoke machines and cigarettes never let yourselves be tricked into marketing them as drug delivery devices. Cigarettes and fog machines aren't classified as such and neither should ecigs.
