Why refill cartomizers when you can just get new ones for free?

I currently use the Total Electronic cigarette and only Total brand accessories. I had a problem initially with their cartomizers lasting for only about 100 puffs when they said on the package that they last for 300 or more. I complained to the company and they sent me 4 six-packs of replacement cartomizers. Two were from an old batch and two were from a new one. To make a long story short, the new ones STILL had the same lifespan as the old ones. The same problem was also happening with the battery that came in the starter kit. It SAID that it would last at least 200 or more puffs when, in reality, it was lasting only for about 100 puffs. They sent me a spare battery to accommodate for this problem as well. Now, it's not so bad using this brand. I just needed to learn not to expect the company to tell the truth about its products' longevity. I sent them an email earlier today with feedback on the new cartomizers they sent me. Maybe they'll send me more free stuff. Who knows? Anyway, I totally got my money's worth out of this company's products, so I am no longer interested in getting e-liquid to refill my cartomizers. At least not for now. I am, however, saving all of my old cartomizers just in case I change my mind. If I do decide to refill them, I am just not sure as to which kind of e-liquid to get. Does anyone know what brand of e-liquid is closest in taste to the Total tobacco flavor (1.8% nicotine)?:smokie:

U got lucky, real lucky. Most vendors will not do that. Unless they keep sending free stuff, u will eventually become frustrated and start moving up the vape chain

Yeah, I thought it was kinda weird too when they actually told me they would send me almost $100 worth of free stuff. Hell, I didn't even ask for any free stuff either. The representative I spoke with just said that he sympathized with me (he said he was a former smoker too and also uses Total products) and then told me that they would send me exactly the same stuff as what I bought for nothing (I didn't even pay shipping). If all else fails, I think I'll get me one of those "mod' things that takes a battery, has an on/off switch, and that requires liquid to refill. It sounds like it could be a lot of fun, based on what everyone else who uses "mods" on here says about theirs. :vapor:

I own a couple mods, and I am happy with them, after my first month with a green smoke, I needed more battery and better carts. Got an ego, better life, more juice, no flavor. Then I bought a vv box mod. Bought some LR dual coil cartomizers and have not looked back.
But hey I can tell u if green smoke would have sent me free stuff, I proli would have stuck with them longer. :)

Out of curiosity I looked up the Total products, from what I saw they are very expensive (around $3.35 per prefilled carto)...so once you've used up the stuff they sent you you might find it prudent to look into other alternatives. I don't use prefilled cartos so I don't know a whole lot about sources but I do know from seeing them in my online wanderings that you can definitely find 5-packs of good brand (like Boge) cartos for 7-8 bucks, probably even cheaper on sale and/or with the discounts that many vendors give. That'd be in the area of $1.50 each. You may have to spring for some new batts but they'll quickly pay for themselves with the carto savings.

I started with blu, and they of course also have little cartos that promise 250 puffs, but for me i got about 100, I could do 250 if they were quite small. Through a few great errors on part of walgreens, i got 150 cartos for 45 dollars (they were accidently selling the whole display box with 10 packs of 5 in it for the price of 1 5 pack) Anyway, i went through those in a little over a month! (alot of them burned out quite quickly as i had not yet learned about filling and topping off small cartos). As soon as they were gone things got pricey so i found the need to upgrade!

I say use the time you have with the free cartos to do your research on what you might want next! also...it pays to pick up some juice now and start filling and topping off.

No idea what their tobacco tastes like so i cant help there

Yeah, I started off with pre-filled cartos too. However, they were pretty pricey, didn't refill very well, didn't give a lot of vapor, and I couldn't choose the juices and vendors of my choice.

So I went through the 510 atty/cart deal and was topping off every few minutes. Then I tried the eGo-T tank system. Very leaky and not a lot of vapor.

Now I'm back to cartos, only this time I use blank Boge cartos, 2.0 ohm on a 510 battery, or 3.0 ohm on my Lavatube. I get tons of vapor, flavor and they last quite a while. And I save a lot of money over the pre-filled kind.

There are also carto tanks that you fill youself, but don't need very much refilling, depending on the size. (YMMV depending on how much you vape).
