I just posted a reply on the long running "Why the Last Poster should be Banned" thread and saw the next reply was that it was closed by "guest". What the heck is going on with that??

haha Roly, now could you answer my question? Seriously. There are a few much longer running threads on this forum than this one.
We tried out an automated thread splitter then switched it off. Currently we are discussing the various issues involved, and whether or not to re-enable it but re-coded with different parameters.

May I please request that the "Music Game" thread in "The Lounge" be restored to its original state. One of the key aspects of the game is to not repeat any previously-posted songs. With the thread split, players would need to search in two places/threads, which has been met with disdain.

Ditto to what SilverBear has said. The integrity of the 'Music Game' has been sullied w/o provocation! Imagine a thread full of music videos being slow to load for folk with autoplay enabled.....
Perhaps GuestBot Destroyer of Threads needs some edumacation concerning browser settings?

However we might introduce a new plugin if we can get it coded: Threads Sullied
It will randomly 'sully' threads with odd weird incidents especially calculated to annoy fans of long chat threads. The evil Moderators are looking forward to see what results from this, they might be able to ban complainers, as usual with no logic or real reason
