I have four orchids. I run them all as single coils-- just don't want the frustration of making two identical coils. I use a bit of moistened cornstarch to block one of the airholes. I don't particularly like the fat driptips. All four are cheap FT clones, and no problems with them.

Here's why the Orchid isn't for me:

When I took apart the Orchid after its arrival, I discovered a lemon.

Good thing the car you bought wasn't a lemon. You'd end up having to ride your bike to work every day.

Sorry about the delayed answer, the drip tip on the Kayfun is aluminum, plastic on the Orchid. Generic "shorty" tips. I probably got them from Fasttech. I like things as short as possible.
