Why use RBA's?

I just lay my PV in my lap about half the time, so I don't like rba's with a side air hole for the same reason that I didn't like 901 atomizers.
There are rda's that don't have side air holes to leak all over your lap.

I got into rba because after a while, I figured I was pretty much tinkering and rebuilding and cursing and screaming at clearomizers anyways. I don't really like cartos for most of my juices.

So, instead of being angry at some underpaid chinese factory worker for not making his 100.000th clearo head of the day perfect, I decided to find someone better to blame when things didn't work: Me.

Vision Eternity always gets mixed reviews. It's still there, but I see more recommendations for the original Phoenix or its clones like the Bulldog, than the Eternity.

I dont think that you will have the best experience with that one. is that the only B&M near you? and is the the only rba that they have?

Not the only b&m but the only one that sells RBAs. Yeah, for now that's the only one they have.

Though I am still going to order something online today or tomorrow I am impatient and want to buy the above because I could mess with it tonight. Is it a total POS?

My advise is buy a cheap one 1st.. Once you decide it's for you and you want to move up then get a top of the line RBA or RDA.

My RBA arsenal will / has included a KayFun Lite and a Z Atty Pro.. RDA wise I have the Cyclone for my smaller diameter mods and the Immortalizer for my larger diameter mods..

These are all on the high end ($$$$ and build quality wise) of the spectrum. Start cheap and move up later if you like it..

Just jump and try it. You will not be disappointed. There are some really good wicked atomizer RBA's that have been cloned to keep the cost down. Like the Terminator or Nautillus. You will find it addicting once you start though.

Also don't get discouraged! Your 1st few coil wraps may be a disaster (mine were).. Keep at it and eventually you will nail it. Once that happens, you will be a coil wrapping machine!

The main thing you want to avoid are hot spots and hot legs..

Oh TRUST me I hate waiting on vapemail I just watched Pbusardo's review of that vision eternity and he seemed to like it. I think I may buy that one after work to keep me satiated until the one I order gets here...

Well I picked up the vision eternity last night and I can say I am impressed! I don't think I will be using those evod BCCs ever again. I cannot believe the difference in the amount of vapor production! There was already a coil setup to be used right away which came in at 1.8 ohm which is lower than I usually use. Now for me to start reading up on what difference that makes etc. I want max vapor production

I appreciate everyone's input in this thread! Now to order a better RDA or RBA online to really get started with. I just didn't have the patience yesterday

If you like genesis style (I don't) then the Cobra is an awesome choice for larger diameter mods.. Or maybe a Doc Mini or Micro for smaller diameter devices..

My $$$$ for RBA is on Kayfun's. The 3.1 or the Lite for larger diameter devices and the Kayfun Mini for smaller diameter devices..

RDA wise the Immortalizer rocks for larger diameter mods and the Cyclone hits hard for it's size making it perfect for smaller diameter mods..

I got into RBAs for two reasons:

1) The vape is amazing.

2) I want a sustainable system. I can buy wicks and kanthal in bulk at a very small cost. Having a system where you only need worry about such basic things is nice. My wife and I really only spend money on juice these days, with the occasional battery replacement. No need to worry if X atty is in stock, etc.

I prefer RBA's for one reason and one reason only. I cant stand waiting on shipping. So therefore instead of ordering replacement coils and such I would rather buy a ton of RBA's and Kanthal and mesh and make everything myself. I am somewhat of an impatient person lol

I started with an octopus and love it. I am now looking at an igo-L and an aga -T2 (or maybe an RSST I am going back and forth on that)

Myrany, if you liked the octopus, try the squid. then if you want a genny go with a z-atty-pro or z-atty-u if you got the dough, because the newer zen gennys come preassembled with ceramic wicks 'n nice coils. Rsst seems flimsy to me but I was rough on it when I got mine (didnt watch vids on it first). If you wanna just stay the route of the rda's then try the cyclone (i havent tried it yet) I heard it's good, has many configurations. I have the zap & rsst, prefer the zap.. I have the octopus & squid, prefer the squid
