I prefer a PV for many reasons. I don't smell terrible, my relationship is better, I have much more energy, my teeth will stay white, don't have to go outside in the cold or heat to smoke, saving money on cigs and perfume, many health reasons, want to see my grandchildren grow up, am not a slave to analogs anymore and the list could go on and on. Since I started, I have turned 4 people on to use PV's. Hope to help many more friends get off analogs. Thank God for PV's!!!

I like that I know Im not going to die from lung cancer. I like smelling better. I like being able to smell taste things. I like not having to go outside every hour for a cigarette even though I do vape outside on occasion. I like having brighter teeth. I like not getting bad looks from people. I like not being asked for cigarettes (if I see someone who is about to ask me for an analog i just put my pv in my pocket. It just makes me feel really free overall and not like a slave to tobacco. Oh did I mention you save more money and I actually like the taste of juice vs an analog.

I enjoy not smelling like a disgusting ash tray, not getting ashes on clothes (especially not on my $500 leather jackets and designer purses), being able to breathe better, and the taste of it with the strawberry juice. I see no reason to return to analogs. I love carrying my 510 around in my cute butterfly case that I ordered with it. I am a gadget lover, and I think its so neat how this little electronic cigarette works. I am a huge fan now..

My first post...I think.

I don't know if there is really an advantage at all. There are just so many things you lose when you quit smoking traditional cigs and go electronic full time.

Here is a list of a few of the things I have been missing over the past few months by vaping instead of smoking.

  • Stale ashtray breath. Now I actually need a real excuse to avoid humanity.
  • Wheezing and gasping for air and all the glory that comes with it.
  • Coughing up phlegm after brushing my teeth in the morning.
  • Coughing up phlegm after doing anything else in the morning.
  • A prime spot on the waiting list for lung cancer.
  • Bragging rights for being the first one on my block to get emphysema.
  • Fashionable burn holes on most of my clothes.
  • The look of joy on my car dealer's face when I bring the car back at the end of its lease term with cigarette burns all over the ceiling, dash, and seat.
  • Freezing myself to the bone on the coldest day in February just to puff some smoke.
  • Getting rid of all that useless money I never really needed. Now that I don't have tobacco to spend it on, I can't think of anything else to do with this extra cash.
  • Opening the car window to smoke while driving through a thunderstorm and braving the tumultuous rain slapping me across the face.
These are just some of the things I will miss by abandoning analog cigarettes.

Why is my PV better than analogs?

--I can BREATHE AGAIN. One week, and I've gone from all-day, violent coughing to the occasional light cough (maybe 2 a day). Noticed an improvement in the first 24 hours.

--I don't feel the self-hatred that plagued me with analogs. I knew I was killing myself but didn't know a way out.

--I have more room on my workstation without the ashtray (and no need to keep cleaning ash mess).

--I don't have to keep hearing my husband and daughter (who smoke--a lot) telling ME I need to stop smoking. Hypocrites. :p

--I can smell my hair and not gag!

--Vaping...is fun. :)

between the health benefits (vaping, completely analog free, for about 7 months and my lungs haven't felt this good since college), the cost effectiveness ($12.50!!/pack), not smelling like an ashtray all of the time, and being able to stealth vape just about anywhere without having to step outside, i'm not sure why more people aren't vaping.

not to mention being able to blend my 2 favorite vices of coffee and vaping all at once with some tasty juices.

Top 10 Reasons I like my PV better than analogs:

10. No more ashes from one end of my car to the other.

9. No more buying lighters in bulk and storing them in every conceivable place known to man "just in case".

8. No more pausing the TV during a Steeler game for a quick smoke only to hear my family cheering from inside when a big play happens.

7. No more wondering if my cooking is that bad.....it is!

6. No more going to the dentist every 3 months to get the tar scraped off my teeth.

5. No more dousing myself with perfume and chomping on breath mints before a big meeting to minimize the smell of smoke.

4. No more nicotine stained fingers....yes, I chose that color of nail polish.

3. No more sitting in my car like a stalker during sub freezing weather to smoke during work.

2. No more fistfulls of tobacco when digging for something at the bottom of my purse.

and the number 1 reason for liking my PV better than analogs.....

#1 Sleepovers with my grandkids at Grandma's!!

First day posting, 1 week lurking, 1 week vaping.

1. Love the honey like Nicodrops I have, got them from the SE people.
2. Smoking at my desk!
3. Talking PV with smokers and non-smokers alike
4. Breathing!
5. Got my sense of smell and taste back in 5 days
6. Not buying Cigs and supporting the nanny state
7. Lit up a cig and tasted nothing but Tar and Crap, made me feel like a winner!
8. A new gadget, let's be honest I'm a gadget NERD.
9. Looking in to a new business that will help people and feed my social side

I'm looking at starting up a PV shop in Norther Colorado, can't get drops here, and I want to be reasonable. Input on this let me know.

Downsides to vaping:

*My smokers tan has faded away due to not spending so much time outside in the HEAT.
*My dogs no longer have to spend half their day outside roasting/waiting for me to finish.
*I may have to go on Xanax to help with my giddiness that comes from awaiting the post man.
*I have all this silly money laying around.
;)

I was hooked on my PV the very first day! Have been smoke free for 22 days now and there are dozens of things that I do not miss, but my favorite is - I no longer cough all damn day! Saving even more money by not having to constantly take cough suppressants just to keep the cough down to a minimum at work. My PV is very freeing and the taste is delicious, I do not even miss those Misty Menthol Silvers! My PV helped me quit a 25 year, pack a day habit - my lungs feel so much more clear already!

Also - my 4 month old grandson doesn't have to wait for gramma to go outside and smoke...I don't have to miss a second of his visits!
