after reading things about pg pulling moisture out of the air, and people claiming to be dried out from using them tipped me off to this, after noticing 2 things. first, i was sitting with a hot cup of coffee, and as i blew a thin stream, when it hit above the cup, a bunch of vapor appeared. next, i took a shower(hot with the door closed), got right out and hit my cig..plumes. so, i think it may be humidity levels that affect vapor production. it seems to need moisture in the air to make vapor. i was wondering why some days i get great vapor, and others low vapor.some people were suggesting temperature as the factor, which could be, but im thinking its moisture, since the temp. has not changed in my house by much, but humidity levels have. if anyone has ideas to test this theory better....

I wonder if a few drops of distilled water in the PG would increase the vapor? I wish I had some distilled water around to test it out.

make some.

use a pan with a lid on your stove or a micro wave safe container that has a lid in your micro. leaving the lid a little loose, boil the water (or heat it close) and the condensation that forms on the inside of the lid is distilled. just make sure the lid is very clean, else you defeat the purpose. it doesn't make a whole lot in one shot, but you don't require that much.
distilled water is nothing more than reconstituted water vapor. granted, your home brew may not be sterile, but a majority of the gases and impurities will be removed.
i've already done this a couple times to add it to Glycerol, which, i believe, will absorb something like 20% of it's volume with water. if your going to add glycerin to your juice, i'd think it might also cut down on the dehydrating effect many have claimed.
though, you probably should let the mixture stand overnight to let the glycerin actually bond with the water, and not just "mix".

though i must warn you, i am a noob at this, so please take my info's with a grain of salt.

I'm in a hotel room right now. Maybe I'll pick some up from a grocery store later.

A lot of people here use distilled water in their mixes. Warm steam making a product work better seems a lot different to me than adding water to the mix to get that same effect. And others have said that too much water will produce steam, not vapor. I think you're looking at two different things here. Guess you won't know, though, unless you try it.

agreed sam, i think the water will just get "fried" in the atomizer. it seems to need to be in the air after atomization. if there is truth to my theory, it may put a lot of people at ease as to why they arent getting results other poeple are, and that we are coming into warmer more humid weather soon:thumb:...sorry to people in always dry climates:(....i still havent done much testing on it though....
