Why are there no B&M's for e cig supplies? You would think that the smoke shops would be all over this. And not the mall kiosk style, but 510/808 etc. parts and accesories available in stores?

Signing a lease, cost to prepare the store....showcases, etc. ain't cheap. Would you spend thousands to get a store opened given the FDA's position on ecigs?

Exactly. The market grows stagnant and refuses to grow because of government intervention. Nobody knows what these elitist central planners are going to do next, so they refuse to invest their hard-earned money into something that could be regulated out of existence in a matter of months.

Basteds.

I would just think that smoke shops would stock this stuff. It just makes business sense that customers trying to quit would still shop at their stores.

There is also legal issues involved with selling these. You can sell tobacco and be pretty much protected . But e cigs are a different story there are already scum bag lawyers out there getting up and advertising to get people on lists to file class action law suits. Although i don't really see a strong case for those suing you have to be prepared to fork out some bucks for legal defense. If the FDA does regulate it and not ban it, says it is safe. You will see huge amounts of places start selling these things.

They are not real common, but they are out there.

Being a Hoosier, I know the Indy Vapor Shop near the Indianapolis Speedway carries 510, 901, eGo, and even Halo juice among many other things.

Where? We work the races and stay at Lot 4 on Georgetown, across from the Coke-Cola lot corner of Georgetown and 25th I think right at the 4th turn. I would so drive down there!

Do I detect a closet conservative, like myself? (well, I'm not really closeted... actually pretty open about it)

The free market always wins. I think the FDA and big Tobacco/Pharma jumped on this wagon a little late in the game, and it's too late to stop it now. I'm 44, and my prediction is that I will see, in my lifetime, quality e-cig parts and juice being sold at my local gas station.

You're a bit south, he is at 4710 W. 34th. Street.

Might get a chance to go see the place next time you're working IMS. (He keeps some odd hours, Mon-Thurs 11am-6pm.)

Oh, Lord, no...I'm anything but 'closet'!! LOL!

I'm a raging libertarian, and make no apologies for it. Dagny Taggart is my hero, if that tells you anything.

"Free market always wins..." HA! Claptrap! That's just brain-washing. Not free against big business cutting out the little guy... lolz. Just look at the number of "mega" corporation buy-outs. "Free market" is often just a banner for those wishing to exploit the market or labor. If it was truly free, we'd have BOTH conservatives and liberals helping it. Where's the anti-monopoly laws when you need them? Oh, and trust me, big tobacco has patents for e-cigs too.......just wait.

Agreed.

But, to the OP's point. I purchased my 1st e-cig to "try it and see if it would work for me" in a B&M tobacco shop. Just FYI. Course, it was not the best model and they don't even have parts/juice. Just whole kits or pre-filled refills. I've moved on. But it is out there.

What she said!!! I've been pretty angry about things lately, but the day when they get between me and my juice..................!!!!!!!!!!:evil::evil:

Only thing I am worried about when the FDA, if all goes well declares that e-cigs are all clear and business starts popping up and selling e-cig parts, is the price. Because right now looking at what I have spent on analogs in the past and what I might be buying for future vaping, I already see a significant amount of savings. But if business booms with them, I see things starting to get pricey.. But I could be wrong.
