Wick hole in Z-Atty-U vs Zenesis II

Finally got my Zen II Brevis in and comparing it to my Z-Atty-U. Wick hole sizes are vastly different. I noticed the Zen II doesn't have an insulator in the wick hole like the Z-Atty-U does. That alone may be making up the difference. Does the ZAU need that insulator? I've been trying to make a wick small enough for the ZAU. What a PITA.

Yes they both need insulators, if your brevis was missing insulators in the package please create a support ticket and we will gladly send you some insulators.

oh crap. i thought that was the new design to be without an insulator.. got my works package w/o the insulator also.

the new design doesnt use the insulator in order to fit ceramic wicks. if it came with a ceramic installed and an extra ceramic then no . if it came with mesh installed and extra meshyou need the insulator,

I bought a Z-Atty 2.1 from Provape, can I also get some insulators, I would like to try SS, got some pre-oxidized SS from Provape, glad I didn't try them...gives ZAP a whole new meaning!
