I went back and changed my original post to say #10. (Check the edit....I explained.) I have both #3 and #10, but got confused when I posted. The #3 is bigger than the #10. The #10 is the one I like best. I got them both at Michaels and Hobby Lobby has them both. I like the smaller threads (the #10), and I wrap my coil using 8 strands. I haven't been boiling it, but I may boil a little and see if there's much of a difference. With the unboiled, I get an "earthy" taste for about three hits (that I just don't inhale) then the taste is gone. From then on I just taste the juice.

I find boiling a bit tedious and have been trying these without boiling them. If they are good, I just forego the boiling. The boiling isn't that big of a PITA, but then drying and untangling....ugh. I just pull it straight off the spool and use it. So far I really like it....and it's really easy to use. I really would be glad to send you some....and some of anything/all of the rest I've accumulated. I've got a roll of just about everything (including both sizes of the cheesecloth) mentioned on this thread. Have tried them all and this #10 bamboo comes out on top...for now, anyway. :)

EDIT: My offer is for anyone who wants some. TM, hildicat....anyone else. :)

Thank you so much for the offer, but I have several craft and hobby stores in the area and I'm sure one of them should have it in stock this week. At $3 a spool its not much of a gamble...

Quigs the ERA comes both in a bottom feeder and dripping Atty, they totally Rock on the REO and pretty much any Mod,,,, another really good one for a Dripper is the Fatty V2,,, I have one of these also and love this thing, I mean really like it a LOT. The Fatty V2 you can get at OKCvapes by pre-sale and when they come in they will send it out. The ERA has a group on Facebook and they do group buys there on FB for these. Both are seriously super Atty's and will both last you a lifetime. Both put out way more vapor and flavor then a normal Chinese Atty as well.

Cyrus, I saw you asking that dude over on the classy's if he'd split the ERA off..I've never heard of one, got a link?...I've still got my Bogger and Grand that I love, maybe something to look at...

There's a co-op winding down right now for the ERA. It's full and they are being shipped now but you might be able to get someone to sell you one if they got extras. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/active-coops/321538-era-easy-rebuildable-atomizer-co-op.html

Just keep in mind that they don't fit in the juice well of Woodvils.

Damn, and I was fingering the mouse on a Fatty V2 on the classy's a while back...I'll keep my eye out, cool addition to my polished Grand ;)...but really?, stomping a 1.7 io6?...that's saying a lot...they're the only disposable atty I use but come on!, those things are pretty friggen' good?...

Edit: just thought, the io6's are supposedly US made bigger/better/faster/stronger 306's...but even a cisco spec 306 doesn't exactly suck...ok, time to get serious with one of these BF/RBA's then...

I've been converted to Aunt Lydias for a week now. Blows everything else away that I've tried. Would love to see how people are wrapping coils with 8-10 strands of it. I have to tape one end of the strands to a needle so that I can wrap my coils w/out the strands turning over on themselves. So good!!

I just watched this......what was I thinking!...me want now...

Quigs, not for nothing but a i06,cisco-306 or even an HH-357 cant hold the jock straps of the ERA or Fatty V2, these two RBA's are TOP NOTCH and provide massive vapor with tremendous flavor,,, I would do a video to show you guys but there are numerous ones out if you Google or YouTube search Fatty V2 and ERA,,,, in fact do that Google or Youtube search = Fatty V2 and watch some of the vapor being blown :laugh::facepalm:

MOV07F.MOD - YouTube

He must have drilled it? Fatty doesn't BF I thought.

That squonking was so scandalous....

No need to drill it,,, there is a special part made to make the Fatty A BF'er but it's kind of a pain in the ... to do,,, I have asked them to make a BF'er Fatty and hopefully it is coming in a better way then changing out the positive post like the one in the video was done to.

@ Cyrus, also it's probably best you didnt get that ERA from the classy's,,, the newer ones have 2 air flow hole's in them where the first ones only had 1 air hole, the ones with the 2 air holes are better ;)

Let em' Black...if 1-2 threads get spiralled in with the coil wrap, that's custom wrapping dude! (I meant to do that ;))...be proud :)

The Griffin - Rebuildable Atomizer Tank

kind of scary stuff

There are 'moral' considerations, and people flame each other left and right about such things elsewhere. I'm just thinking in terms of consequences here. Well, mostly.

Yes there are many things that make an atty great, subtleties of air flow, etc, then there is build quality, over all feel, looks, etc.

I don't have any cheap clones of the expensive RBAs, so I can't speak to how well they work in comparison.

But what happens when someone nails all the intricacies of atty building that make the expensive gear great, and sells their unit made of cheaper materials for jack all?

Will the vendors/makers of high end gear have to cut prices to keep above water? Will loyal fans persist in paying top dollar despite lack of any functional difference between high end gear and 'clones?'

It also raises the question, in my mind, was the high end gear ever reasonably priced to begin with? Did I/we get fleeced?

Are the cloners the bad guys, or just the vehicle of justice being visited on the rip off artists?

Ooo the controversy burns....
