Noooooooooo Problem M8. :>)
I bet the vendor is scratching there head. saying ... is going on. LOL

Hope so, so that they restock it ASAP ;)

The only thing slightly troubling me is that now availability seems to be '-1' for the natural 25 yds balls... and I've bought 2 of them, supposedly.. hmmm...

A few times I have created charts, graphics or other digests for a somewhat focused aspect of vaping. I have created one on the contrasts between VG and PG and another on Nicotine Base Properties...digested from another's text evaluations. Some of you may have seen some of my efforts. My intent with these is to curate material that may be spread over many posts or threads in one place for easy analysis.

It seems there is enough going on with Wick Materials and their various Properties to create a chart covering the basics though not every exception.

I've started a test chart in the Sandbox here on ECF. I can add (numbered) footnotes and general commentary. Again, I'm not trying to say everything there is, but provide a general resource that people can use to at least get a handle on a topic and aspects thereof.

You are welcome to view the beginnings of this effort. If you'd like to comment or help fill in the blanks, feel free to comment to me via PM or 'as is appropriate' here in this thread.

Damn, 25 yds. If you use 6" per setup and if they last 2 wks thats 5.7 years of wick. lol I bought 5 yds and still have 3 yds left on my first order and 10 yds on second order is in my stash box...

Right, a bit of an overkill. But if it's that good, we'll keep on going with it for a looooong time... while doing some hemp crafting on the side :D

Hmmm, I was just trying to get 5 yards.... in the description it says you can get free shipping without delivery confirmation, but that option is not available at check out.... Also, I saw there was also organic hemp listed in the store..... Anyone tried that?
Thanks!
Tried some organic hemp in the 60s..:) The organic I tried now was from another source and it didn't wick very good, tended to crumble, and burn easy.

Good stuff Cool_Breeze... Might be worth noting the VG wicking rating as well... BJ has been using hemp with 100% VG with good results. Just a thought..

Okay...good idea. I haven't done much VG. Have you got an idea of which wicks are good or not so good when pushed to the VG end of the spectrum?

I generally vape with just VG and h20. (50ml VG/Nic in VG and 8ml distilled water) Occasionally I add some peppermint, and/or menthol into the mix, but if I'm prasing it for being good, it's on VG/Nic.

The #1/0 cotton square braid that I use works well with VG, but generally I have to let it break in a day or so before I can really lay into it chain vaping. I usually will take four 4 sec. hits with about a 5 sec. break for recovery in-between. I wasn't able to chain much until my Ody clone :)

As for the 1mm hemp that BJ43 uses: It wicks extrememly well with his oval coil method of 2wicks in a vivi. I chain it many times and it doesn't start fading for me until the 4th hit or so. This is without any breaks at all. It have a burnt taste when it goes dry; more of an earthy "i'm done" sort of flavor.

I've used SS mesh 400, 500 and 650 and Silica with good results 100%VG (10/10). But I haven't hopped on the cotton, hemp, lydia's or any other train yet... So I am sure others will speak up.

?!? What chu talkin' 'bout Willis? Ya gotta give it a spin man! :) Just don't try to power vape on it if it's cotton. Hemp will take more stress, but it's not silica :) As for bamboo, Lydia just doesn't like me. I can't stand it.
