I think it is very important to note that we only know methanol was found in a batch because pillbox not only gets his liquid tested, but he releases the information about the results, good bad and the ugly.
The bottom line is where would you rather get your liquid from, somewhere that has procedures in place to spot and pull contamination, or somewhere that no testing is done at all so we can continue in bliss while remaining ignorant?
There is a secondary point also, and that is that pillbox's supplier is also aware now that he performs independent tests on his liquid and as such, will provide some kind of impetus to the manufacturer to ensure this doesn't happen again.
It is scary, not only not knowing, but sometimes knowing what in the liquids, however pillbox needs recognition as being a solid retailer and one that is heading the right way.
Our best hope is that the other retailers take a leaf out of pillbox's book, not just regards testing, but disclosure.
As it is, and as far as I am aware with who does what testing and how accessible these results are, pillbox's totally wicked liquid is the only one I will buy now.
I started e smoking to reduce the risk of further health complications and illnesses, not exacerbate existing ones and introduce new ones.
